I bet the only reason you hate Baltimore is because you've been there. That's common.

Hey Todd, Can You Review The Worst and Best Songs of 2008? Because I've Got a Playlist That I Made on YouTube Called "The Class of '08" Plz Check It Out If You Get a Chance, Thanks!!! https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLzn4l2_i0YtqubooPhdAPigS0WAfzx3yF

Oh my gosh, this was like a freakin' time warp for me. I had indeed completely forgotten this song until your video started, and upon hearing the song it took me right back to 2000.

I had totally forgotten that song, and it's complete magic. Thanks for the memories. I remember a lot of those songs from the early 2000s had jumble lyrics that made no sense when you read them, but still sounded good because of the overall song.

This song hung out in the lower spots of TRL for a brief moment, and I was obsessed with it for that week. Six years later a friend of mine requested a ska song at a middle school dance, and the DJ played this. Everyone left the floor except us. Good times!

... oh god that song is in my head again now XD

This and "Teenage Dirtbag" by Wheatus always annoyed the hell out of me with their weird lyrics.

This is such a breath of fresh air to hear.

I think the fake plastic submarine thing may have to do with the fact that the band is named after a fighter jet and the girl is chasing after them in a plastic submarine and will never catch up, that's just my two cents though.

And I commented too quickly, dammit

That and mosquito from the same album were my early aughts jam.

Turn-of-the-century pop punk was what made me start to actively listen to music, but I've never heard of this one... So this was an even nicer history lesson than usual. Thanks. That trend of ripping off Linkin Park in 2002 is really sad in hindsight.

Now You See Inside is genuinely one of my favourite albums. You made those songs look so so much worse in context of their time and what the band actually looks like (I'd only ever heard them, I thought they were, like, older). And out of the context of the album, which gave me the impression they were like songwriters who wrote about things and people who aren't them. Well I think that's still true. Really interesting episode though, I'm not used to caring about the music you review.

You know why you can't make a Mel Brooks film in this day and age? Because you're not Mel Brooks. That's it. Too many hacks think just saying the n-word is what made his films great.

My first exposure to SR-71 was that they originally did 1985, and I love the Bowling For Soup version. This still comes across my Pandora though

Stephanie Martin

Holy shit, I loved this song in middle school! Never thought I'd see it here tho.
