I totally understand where your coming from. On my end though I definitely have heard that funimation is putting a list of reaction channels who promote uncut versions to Patreon. My name along with SMF and Animaechan haven't been named so far and I seriously want to keep it that way.

So apparently the new "edit style" in compliance with fair use is totally unnecessary. Simply said, Patreon's "Terms of Use" state that even if Funimation or anyone else were unhappy with your content, they'd have to file a complaint first, and you'll have 48h to take it down. According to Animaechan & SMF, who both have hard working mods figuring this out. All credits to them for figuring this out btw. But hopefully you already know this because its kinder old news :) Animaechan is already back with normal format reactions, thankfully.

Honestly it’s not bad and I’m only paying a dollar so I don’t mind, when I get that rare moment to watch on my computer and sync it’ll be worth it, but any Patreon who wants to do this and charge more than $1 is not worth it at all in my opinion

same here, i like the more frequent pausing, means for a better reaction because technically a reaction is just a live and recorded review for a subject of entertainment. after all u "reacted" to some chapters of OP (btw sometimes u skipped a page here and there FYI). for some it ruins the flow and immersion, but if that's the case id prefer watching the show for 5 min then catch up with u or scene to scene back and forth if i was in their position/perspective. its a called a reaction for a reason u react we watch and listen, its like watching it with a friend limiting u talking is counterproductive to the experience we're supposed to b here for. awesome reaction as always (im used to pausing a lot for the subtitles, sometimes they're up for so short i have to go back more than 5 times to read it or to get the timing right, English is my 1st and only language so im gonna miss some things if i dont pause at least 1/4 of the lines said in the video like around 40x or more in this episode) ^_^ <3

i didnt use crunchyroll and it was the same timestamp and also the subtitles r more than good enough to sync up for me since i also had the same subtitles, but in many things its good to have a few redundancies and stuff :)

I do like the new timer based reaction, especially since you included the sub to be shown so it's easier to sync for me, but it's true like the other guys said that in this timer based reaction a lot of pauses is kinda take it away from the reaction itself because we had to sync it all over again. So I agree maybe to just pause once in the middle of episode or something like that. Anyway the most important thing is that you have to enjoy the episodes too right :D

It's not about patreon, it's about protecting herself by following fair use. Even if she puts it on Vimeo, if it's full unedited, she could still get in trouble

By the way thought of something i don't know if it will work or not but u could post a link on viemo to the full reaction without embedding it on ur patreon like i said i don't know if it will work or not and i also don't know if it will hurt ur following just study this idea and see if it will effect u in a negative way or not

Hey allona as an old patreon member, I would like to express my concern about this new format. Well like this thing has to be done now ofc, but this takes off the whole fun :/ can u find a way to show the screen too at least or the sound too, without cutting it off completely, idk it seems so weird to me

Its ok but its quite tiring to pause and try to sync, but may I suggest something? I think having a vid with really really low opacity would help maybe format the shape? I see other reactors do this alot ,a large timer edit indication as well maybe im just a visual person. Great reaction though!!!

yeah but I honestly don't really mind it when my internet isn't missing around, since I have a Mac book pro I can just open the video which is playing in a small window like how you used to put the video in your reaction but little bigger than yours

Yeah, I wasn't sure on the specifics but given what you just said I fully agree with you lol. It sucks you've been put in this position but hopefully things can go back to how they were if you lay low for a bit. You're my favorite reactor! :)

I haven’t seen the full video yet, but I do know the way you are doing timer and I do enjoy doing it like that especially with the subs showing so we can sync up easily. But I do agree with others that the pauses during the episode might need to be lowered to maybe once or twice an episode. Maybe pause halfway through the episode so you can gather your thoughts on each half. Because I know series like these can throw so much information, but pausing way too many times does make it harder to sync having to do so each time. Other than the pauses everything else about the way you plan on reacting is fine! I will still continue to show you my support no matter what :) Quick edit- One thing that can help you remember info for when you explain is maybe jotting down quick notes like keywords not sentences in a notebook or something. Like for example this episode, you can jot down keywords like “Princess of Jahad, Anaak v Endorsi, Bam and shinsu, Horn dudes past” just small things can make you remember about things you wanna talk about for when you pause or make your discussion

Anyways to answer you first 2 questions as I watch the reaction. the answer for your first question why she'd have a kid knowing it's illegal is because she fell in love and like people say love is blind and 2nd answer is because she went into hiding. they were hiding so that's why they couldn't find her to kill her and that guy.

Just listening to you watching because I've already finished watching the episode (sorry I couldn't wait. lol). I'm used watching timer reactions because of Khan. The difficult thing I find with timed reactions is when you're watching on mobile you can't play 2 vids at the same time with both audio on. Also when you have shitty internet or if the site where you're watching is shitty it's annoying to sync the videos. Timer might also be different on each website you watch to. Pausing to give more insight/comments will make synching annoying too. I will still continue to support you no matter what. Thank you for always giving us content and entertainment specially during this boring times. Peace!

Im no expert on the subject but i do know all the stuff going on with "she who must not be named" caused all of this so i understand the need to switch formats due to not wanting to be swept up with the commotion. Im not a stranger to timer formatting and overall i think its easy to sync up with what you are doing. However I think the pauses in the video will need to either be cut down or stopped because syncing everytime you do so will get tiring imo. It might be best if you just leave the speculations and reviews at the end of the video.

Idk fully the extent but I do know that a Voice actress definitely put ol girl under a microscope by letting the studio she works for know about Patreon as well. Also I have heard that there is a list of other reactors who have been mentioned to the company as well. I was told that I wasn't on the list BUT I rather be safe than sorry, especially since she had her Patreon removed.

People have the vid w opacity on YT which seems to be more vulnerable than Pateron when it comes to strikes. Isn't no vid at all on patreon a bit too safe? Idk the specifics of what's going on atm, but I'm subscribed to plenty of people on YT who still show vids w no problem at all. Seems like the person in question had very little "reaction" and was basically second to the video itself.

I am okay with the format since we still get the full reaction. The only thing I would say I mind is the pauses to talk in between segments since I have to sync up every time. I think It would be better if they weren't as frequent in my opinion.

I'm good with this, the only thing might be to show where it is with sound for about 5 seconds to sync up with that. especially when you pause. maybe? Example: I don't know if 1.03 is 1.03 in all versions. (sites)
