Too be far, Lelouches plan was never going to work either. Everytime there was a paradigm shift in the serious is because to some extent Lelouch was ill prepared due to his tunnel and ignorance of forced out of his control. His fight against Cornelia the first time. What happened on Kamine Island, the Black Rebellion and so on... Suzakus plan was doomed from the start and he also knew that since what he really wanted was to die, his conviction to help others was a manifestation of his own grief that he carried for over eight years. The only reason either of their plans got as far as they did, ironically, was because they kept foiling each other’s plans. Every moment Suzaku became conflicting wedge in Lelouch’s plans he stepped up his game from just being a small terrorist group to fully conquering the Empire. Every time Suzaku was put in a situation with the Black Knights he got a promotion. To the point where he could have well been the Knight of One and claimed Area 11 as his own. When it comes to Euphies plan, it was good one but it did have its flaws something that could have been rectified with the help of Zero and the Black Knight enforcing the laws passed down by the Viceroy if it went through. If anything Charles didn’t even give a fuck about anything happening in Area 11 he just wanted the shrine so he can do whatever the fuck he was planning to do with the Sword of Akasha. Would that have help or foiled everyone’s plans at the same time? Maybe but it’s not like anyone’s plans were full proof to begin. Lelouch made ALOT of short sighted mistakes and Suzakus guilt riddled ideology was full of holes. They really need to get their heads out their own ass and realize that they both needed to a little of both to save Japan.

Judging by the look of them, they’re light as fuck. 2020-04-03 02:11:25 +0000 UTCNunnally was pretty happy back in the day b4 Britannia attacked, even after losing her eyes and legs her time in Japan was pretty nice for her. But in reality, these things can be lost at any moment and thats the thing Lelouch was afraid of. He saw a future that needed Britannia to fall and be defeated in order for them to be free of Britannia's grasp. Nunnally and Euphies plan has always been peaceful but none of it helps. Discrimination against numbers is still there. Not many Britannians would actually care because iin the end, they are just princesses. If the emperor declares discrimination to be right and just then why would they listen to the princess? That's why Euphy's zone of Japan would never have worked and at best is a temporary solution that really doesnt change much. The Japanese would still be considered defeated slaves caged in their own land with a bit of freedom in the zone but once they step out of that zone, then they will considered to be slaves once again. Not to mention the rest of the world continues to fight against Britannian domination. Lelouch, while his main goal is to free Nunnally and destroy Britannia, his ways may be vicious and harsh but by defeating Britannia, he allows all the other Areas to be released from Britannia. So in this sense, Suzaku and the rest are just being far too naive and short sighted to think that without taking complete control of the empire either by defeating it or becoming its ruler, then theres no other way to change their system of discrimination.
