yo I'm totally confused with what you are trying to say but anyways tower of god is a manhwa with over 400 chapters. however, the anime just started yesterday or something and that's why I asked her to watch it since it just started.

the first season is slow. its more character introduction and building up to the hype that is season 2. ofc that doesnt mean it was bad but it was slow so some might get lost especially in the first few episodes. if you are like me and never watched the og fate (the shitty animation one) then it can be very overwhelming at first. but gods is it good.

What about "Wolfchildren" from Mamoru Hosoda? I think It's on Netflix. It's an amazing anime movie. I could have suggested any other non anime movie but I feel like, you more than anyone, would love this movie.

I think you could use it exclusively for watching films, since they're short and easier to coordinate. There are so many awesome anime movies (I don't know how much you've seen) and it would be great to see you react to some Devilman/Ninja Scroll era anime. And yes, I think the movies should be anime. But that's just my preference. Or, as someone said, if they're live action, maybe japanese/asian movies, like Oldboy or The Handmaiden
