Mini-Episode 37: A Thousand Blows

It’s set in the East London of the 1880s, in a gritty environment populated by bareknuckle boxers, Jamaican immigrants, and an all-female criminal gang. In today’s episode, I cover the show itself and the real history on which it is based.
