Going on Hiatus (Again) - Health Problems

I think it's time, that I opened up about something that's been bothering me for while now, which is that last fall I was diagnosed with a rare eye disease. The disease affects my central vision, which makes it harder for me to see. For the past 8-9 months things have luckily been pretty stable, but now it's getting worse and it will very likely continue to do so. There's no cure or treatment currently available for this, which also means that my art career will likely come to an end soon, since I won't be able to draw. Right now, I can still read and see peoples faces, but it might not be long until that becomes an issue. I don't know how long I have until things go really sideways, could be weeks, months or years... However, I've recently discovered that some people have fund acupuncture to be somewhat helpful, so next week I'll be starting on an intense 2-week acupuncture program. The program is very time consuming, so I'll put my Patreon on Hiatus for rest of August, and I guess we will see what happens. You will not be charged for this month, and hopefully everything will resume as normal from September 1st.
All of this just feels like a terrifying nightmare that I can't escape from, and even the thought of losing my vision makes me want to just curl up in ball and cry... There's still so much I wanna accomplish and experience, and I NEED my eyes for that, so I'm gonna do everything in my power to fight this, and I hope all of you guys will stick around to cheer me on.
