Special Treat - Getting ready for Novelber 2025
Added 2025-10-26 16:37:31 +0000 UTC
Novel writing month is just around the corner, my pretties.
Ever since its inception, I've taken part in National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo), doing my best to scrape together 50,000 words in the hopes that after a few editing passes, it resembles something close to a novel.
Usually I'll get around 15,000 to 20,000 words deep before something interrupts my flow and I don't come back to it, or as it's happened a few times, I've written a decent little trunk novel that's fun but not something worth pursuing publishing or releasing.
I haven't taken part in it for a few years, ever since being an erotica author became my main career...but I want to give it a go again, and I need your help to do it!
Oh, and also...official NaNoWriMo apparently supports gen AI, so we're not supporting them or calling it NaNo any longer.
For me, it will be...uh...nov...novem...novel...ber. Novelber. Novelber.

The novel ideas I have
All of these four concepts are ones I've written out and made rough scene or chapter breakdowns for. They were novel ideas I had in the past that I started developing, but never got around to pursuing for one reason or another.
I've wanted an excuse to write all of these out, and #Novelber2025 is as good a reason as any. Also, all of them have at least a little bit of WG or Inflation kink stuff in them, which is why I'm bringing these ideas to you.
Read them over, then vote at the bottom of the post for which one you want me to pursue. Whichever gets the most votes by October 31st will be the one I pursue.
I'll be posting my progress once a week in the form of an edited 2-3 chapter chunk on Wednesdays, then creating a full document (PDF and epub) when it's finished, which I'll share on the Patreon.
Here they are, along with little thumbnails I whipped up in Canva to help convey the vibes...

Outer Spacesekai (or ‘How I got teleported 256 lightyears from Earth while trying to get Taco Bell’)
An isekai story about being the only human woman for lightyears, transported to a derelict freighter, having to work to repair it, then hire a crew of aliens to help her do delivery jobs to afford the fuel to reach Earth. Heavily inspired by these tweets between me and LeafTilde. It's a mix of thrilling outer space adventure and cozy relationship building. If you liked my Starfeeder stuff, this is similar.

A Goblin Named Butter
A young goblin woman owes a debt to a wizard in training, helping her run away from her oppressive all boys magic school that she's just been kicked out of for magically changing her gender (She was a transwoman the whole time!), while also outrunning the monster hunters that want her dead. This is me trying my hand at writing an actual fantasy novel for the first time.

The Woman From Morel
A murder mystery set in Lovecraft’s America of the 1920’s that quickly turns into a psychedelic horror show as more secrets are revealed about the manor on the hill in Morel, Vermont. Expect a lesbian protagonist upending the tropes of cosmic horror, as well as some weight gain and body horror.

Fattening Contact
A young Canadian transwoman is hired to be the lone custodian to a giant radio telescope station in the ‘Northwest Radio Exclusion Zone’ (NREZ) in northern Alberta, only to slowly start to receive signals from alien life forms that want her fatter. Very ‘Voices Of The Void’ and ‘X-Files’ inspired.
The space to vote is below! Voting ends on midnight Oct 31st. Lemme know which one you wanna read the most!
Comments
Trust me, eventually ALL of these concepts will be written. It's just a matter of which one first~

2025-10-26 16:58:49 +0000 UTCIt sucks real bad. Like, the spirit of their statement isn't even that bad: Gen AI *is* a useful tool for organization and (hypothetically) editing that is helpful for people who are disabled. But to call people who object to AI use 'ableist'...in a creative writing challenge...where people will absolutely just use AI to write their books for them...is SUCH a bad look. It comes across as wholly anti-author and anti-creative.

2025-10-26 16:56:30 +0000 UTCIt's too bad the NaNoWriMo website and company is dead... and self-inflicted too. Website's gone. And looking into why and how... 😬
