Special Treat: We Played ALIEN the roleplaying game

So I'm enormously grateful to have been blessed with having multiple roleplaying game groups who are down to clown with expansion kink shenanigans.

One of these groups is made up of a bunch of my plus-sized Vtuber friends TwixeGobbo, PandaeMonia, and SquirrelGirlDGT. We normally play dungeons and dragons every week, but every so often I run them through another roleplaying game with some kinky stuff mixed in.

This week it was my third favorite ttrpg of all time...ALIEN: The Roleplaying Game!

You've likely read about the previous ALIEN campaign I got to play in and recapped online, but this time I was the Game Mother, taking my fave group of players through a tense little one-shot adventure called ALIEN GUTS.

Here's the recap:

What's The Story, Mother?

It's the year 2192. In a distant region of space known as the Frontier, megacorporations vie for control over everything, sabotaging and stealing from each other whenever possible. The rules of salvage claims are very clear, and corporations use them to swoop in and collect any ships, cargo, and scientific discoveries from their rivals that go missing in deep space.

The crew of the ICSS Hermes is one such salvage crew.

When selecting pre-made characters, Gwen, Monia, and Twixe all picked Medic, giving us an 'Oops, all medics' party. Their characters were as follows:

They're accompanied by the ship's pilot, a woman named Akira Kano, and its captain, flight officer Angela Harris.

All three of them woke up from cryosleep aboard the Hermes. They'd been contracted by Weyland Yutani to find and salvage the contents of a Seegson owned vessel that had raided an W-Y facility on the frontier. The crew's corporate orders were to recover any stolen cargo they could, with a focus on 'biological and xenological samples'.

After a bit of searching, they found the ship...the USCSS Gulliver...cold and dead, floating in space.

It was time to suit up and space walk across.

Bringing the Gulliver back to life

The captain remains onboard the Hermes, while the players and Akira go across to the Gulliver.

The Gulliver is a corvus class salvage and towing vessel (modeled after the Aneisadora from Alien Isolation). When the trio cuts their way inside, they find that the ship's interior is all torn and shot up.

Something bad went down inside this place. At first...there's no sign of the crew.

They travel down five decks to the ship's reactor core, bringing it back online to get power, gravity, and oxygen flowing again. Slowly, the cold dead ship comes back to life. The lights come back on, and it's revealed that the Gulliver is in even worse shape than expected.

Acid has burned through parts of the interior decks, bullet holes and blood cover the walls of the lower decks, and the ship's A.P.O.L.L.O AI core is completely locked off behind a high level corporate code. The same goes for the ship's only remaining lifeboat.

Akira opts to stay on the bridge of the Gulliver to monitor things.

Before moving the cargo, the crew discovers that the ship's air is bad. Something is wrong with the O2 scrubbers.

Wanda Milley, the strongest of the three medics, gets to work replacing the air scrubber filters. The current ones are caked with strange black slime.

One bad roll later...and Wanda is covered in the stuff!

I make Gwen make a Stamina roll against a secret Virulence roll I make.

Wanda fails...meaning she's infected by the black slime, as something alien enters her bloodstream.

With the air scrubbers fixed, Wanda goes to shower off on the crew deck, getting cleaned up. Inside the shower, in a very vulnerable state...she hears something moving inside the air vents above.

Something big...with claws.

The rest of the crew starts to move cargo containers from the uppermost cargo hold. They decide to have their ship pull up alongside the Gulliver, so they can just toss the containers out the airlock and have them land safely in the Hermes' cargo bay.

It's a good plan...until things go wrong.

The Part Where Things Go Wrong

Suddenly, the Gulliver's engines roar to life!

The ship starts moving, picking up speed. Milley, Iris, and Juno get tumbled around violently as they try to figure out what's happened.

Akira reports that the ship's AI has come back online, and its locked her completely out of the ship's controls. It looks like APOLLO is trying to take them back to a designated Seegson owned station, and its speeding up to FTL! If they don't act fast, the Hermes won't be able to catch up to them!

Now the crew's working on a ticking clock.

Iris manages to use her comtech skills to bypass the lock on the APOLLO mainframe door, accessing the ship's AI directly. She's able to unlock the Hermes' sole lifeboat, giving them a way off the ship, but can't convince APOLLO to slow down or change course.

They also learn from APOLLO that a xenomorphic lifeform is on board the ship with them.

It's whatever's been crawling around the airducts. Whatever it is...it's big, and it's deadly.

Akira goes on ahead to prep the lifeboat, while the rest of the crew secures the cargo and grabs up a cache of weapons.

That's when I make another secret Virulence roll for Wanda Milley.

The good doctor's pill cravings are now out of control, developing into a monster-sized hunger. As the crew passes through the galley, she opts to stay behind to grab a quick snack.

A snack that consists of 18 Seegson branded insta-vend meals. Chef's special #3, mystery protein with jumbo brownie dessert.

Wanda stuffs her face, seemingly unable to feel full. Her belly gurgles and distends, swelling out in front of her as she fills it up to bursting. Unbeknownst to her, black tendrils begin to spread beneath her skin, as her belly's skin becomes translucent and stretchy. Something is happening to her.

The Alien Appears

Juno and Iris hustle off to a nearby maintenance closet, where they find a flamethrower and a bolt gun. When they head back to rejoin Wanda, the ceiling above them gives way...and something huge slithers out:

At its head is a jet-black exoskeletal nightmare of long limbs, ribs, and tubes. A torpedo shaped head gives way to an enormous mouth filled with metal teeth. No eyes can be seen on this nightmare creature. Its lower half is swollen and tubular, tipped with scraping, dragging little nodules. Its fat, like the body of a caterpillar; black giving way to a sickly mottled green.

It's the very hungry caterpillar from Hell.

Iris opens fire with the bolt gun but it jams.

The alien monster rears up on her, scaring her stiff. She drops her weapon, as the alien opens its massive jaws to swallow her whole.

Juno reacts quickly and douses the alien with fire from the flamethrower. She torches it for 2 damage. On fire, the alien writhes and squirms. It shudders and disgorges a huge mass from its mouth: a slimy cocoon.

It's Akira Kano, their pilot! She got gobbled up on her way to the lifeboat, and is now dead.

Wanda waddles out from the galley and joins the fight. All she has on her is a plasma cutting torch. It's an improvised weapon at best.

But then Gwen rolls like crazy!

4 damage to the alien, slicing its long caterpillar body open. A gross collection of xenomorph eggs spills out of it, along with a kiddie pool-sized vat of acid blood!

As the alien tries to squirm away, Juno and Iris unload with their weapons, stacking another 4 damage onto it, blowing it apart!

The xenomorph seems dead!

But now, the acid blood is eating its way through the ship. It won't be long before the whole thing explosively decompresses! The crew helps Wanda to her feet, and they hustle towards the lifeboat with the cargo they've recovered.

The lifeboat launches, escaping the Gulliver just as it comes apart in space.

They made it out, safe and sound...

...or did they?

Wanda takes the helm of the shuttle, flying them towards the Hermes. With its docking bay still open, there's just enough room to fit the shuttle.

Everyone takes a look around the shuttle, only for Juno to spot something out the front viewport: a dark shape clinging to the hull.

The alien survived!

It smashes its head against the window, cracking the viewport, as fissures in the glass spiderweb outwards. It's trying to take down the ship!

Thinking quickly, Wanda puts the shuttle into a corkscrew spin. She burns the engines hard, causing the xenomorph to lose its grip...and go hurtling off into space! It's done for!

Back on the Hermes, the crew unloads the cargo and prepares for the flight back to civilization to get paid. Wanda immediately wants breakfast in their little kitchenette, preparing enough food to feed an army, which she promptly devours, eating and eating until there's almost nothing left!

While Juno and the captain tend to her, Iris sneaks off to make a short transmission.

Wanda's gut distends so much that it bursts her pants and shirt apart, touching the ground. Her translucent skin suddenly reveals...that she's been eating for two! A tiny little alien squirms around inside of her!

Iris makes an emergency call to Weyland Yutani. She reports that the alien aboard the Gulliver is dead, but another xenomorphic sample has been acquired inside of Wanda. She's prepared to put her on ice to ensure the baby organism survives. In this transmission, she also reveals...that she was a secret android working for the company this whole time.

Every decision she made through the session set up the rest of her crew to be infected and put in harms way, all in the hopes of getting them impregnated with an alien!

The transmission goes out...and is received and acknowledged.

And that's how the session ended.

Would you like to play a game?

I had a blast running this session, and it sounded like my players had a blast too. I'm extremely grateful to them for letting me run one of my favorite games, coming up with my own little scenario.

Speaking of which...if you want to play this same scenario yourself, you can very soon!

I'm going to be organizing all my notes into a published Cinematic Scenario PDF and making it available to Fiend Tier members and above!

This scenario PDF will come with maps, a three act structure, and statistics for a new type of xenomorph variant. It also includes the following kinks: stuffing, weight gain, impregnation, vore, and more!

Look out for it very soon~
