What's next?

Since I have completed the main route of the game many of you have asked what I'm going to do next. I want to answer this and other questions in this post.

About Drain Mansion:

I still have plans for this game. For the very short term future, I will release a new small content patch for the game. This will include the Catgirl's CG as she was the winner in the polls and I want to make changes to hard mode. This would include stuff like added traps to some areas and for example an additional ability that the last boss will use. These changes are only applicable to the hard mode, I want to make it have extra challenges other than "if you are caught you are dead". You can expect this small patch sometime next month.

As for the long-term future of the game, I still want to make another ending for it. The so-called true end, which would be the actual canonical end of the game and my future project would be connected to that. Many people asked if virginity would play a role in the ending. It didn't have one in the normal ending, but it will have one in this route. I don't expect this to take a lot of patches, but I don't want to promise anything as of now yet because I'm still planning how it should play out. I will write a post about it next year, as I want to take a break after the small content patch next month until about January.

What about the free releases?

The remaining two versions will have fixed release dates. 1.3.1 will release on the 20th of November and 1.4.0 will release on the 24th of December as a Christmas present.

What about this future project?

It is still very much in the planning phase and I'm pretty sure it won't see the daylight for a good while. I want to make an RPG that is focused on characters and the interactions between them. While DM was porn-focused I want to make this game more character and story-focused. The main premise would be the relationship between a traveling human and a succubus and how they interact with each other. And yes, this game would be a continuation of Drain Mansion, but it would play years after it. Also, they are only loosely connected.

Anyway, this is in the far future, so until then I will expand on DM.

Survey

I will make a survey about DM next month for Patrons and I hope to hear feedback about the game. I want to understand what you guys thought of the game, the development, etc. I want to be able to improve in the future and I think this would help me understand what you guys think better. So please, when I do, give me your thought about the project!

I know this is something content creators always just say, but I'm not exaggerating when I say I couldn't have done this without the overwhelming support I've received from all of you. Seeing how many people were actually interested in the game gave me the motivation to complete this game.
