End of April Progress Report

Hello fellow humans! Thanks for being here and supporting Kiera's foray into bab-dom! Well.. she may or may not thank you, depending on her traits... but I certainly do either way!

Anyway, here's what I've been up to the past couple weeks!

T-SHIRT + DIAPER SPRITES. I have been working lots on the diaper + t-shirt sprites! There's a loooooot to do here, since the appearance of the diaps changes based on whether Kiera is dry vs. soggy/wet vs. soaked, and then clean vs messy. So 6 permutations of sprites!! (And then maybe leaky sprites, too?! Wah!) It'll take a while to have poses for every condition, but my goal for the next update is that Kiera can at least have accidents and waddle around with nothing covering her padding ^^

GENERAL ACCIDENTS. Lots of progress is being made towards Kiera's accidents! A few key focuses have been: Allowing multiple messes, Allowing wider range of animations based on outfit, And randomizing her potty needs. (You may have noticed that she always goes pee twice and then poops. I am in the process of changing that! It will keep to the 66% vs. 33% chance, but won't always happen in the same order, ie she could poop, pee, poop or whatever.)

ITEMS. I have been working on items and the items tab! You may have noticed that items don't get saved properly, so that's one thing I'm fixing, but I'd also like them to be more interactive and have more of an impact on gameplay (ie Kiera's paci- I mean, Babbler!). So stay tuned for more on that.. including some new items in the next update!

CODE/SPRITE REFACTORING. Over the past 2 years I've been learning a LOT about what steps to take in (somewhat) properly coding and maintaining a game. Lately, I've been spending a good amount of time refactoring things so that they're easier to work with, and so they run a bit better too. Not really an exciting aspect of progress, but thought I'd share, since a lil work on this now will save a lot of work later, and it's a good step towards making sure that (someday TM) I'll be able to finish the game!

SANDBOX. I'd like to introduce the Sandbox Littles in the next update, so I've started a bit on that! (See picture) The one boy is a bit of a bully, and Kiera will have the chance to stand up to him, ignore him, or join him (mileage may vary based on her traits, of course..!)

BOYS CLUB: Okay, I've talked about this forever and it still isn't part of the released game yet. BUT I've made some big steps with it and can happily say that the Boys Club will be ready for the next update! (See picture)

PARTY SKILLS/INTERACTIONS. I'm making progress with skills that Party members can use (Billie tummy poke, Cassidy diaper change, Miss Laura nursing), and I'm adding some new interactions based on who's in your Party (ie, the sandbox bully interactions will go very differently based on whether it's Miss Laura, Cassidy, or Billie who's tugging you along..)

TRAINING. So.. confession time.. I've been getting a big kick out of the Training tab lately. I just wanna add more and more things to it! So moar moar moar of those soon :) (Couple pics of WIPs for that too).
