Mid-February Progress Report

Yoyo everybody! Hope that you're doing awesomely. Looks like there's just a month and a half 'til the next release of Baby Maker.. and just a month 'til early access! Holy guacamole, does the time fly!! :D

I've made some decent progress so far this month. Life has been a bit busier lately, so I haven't finished as much as I'd hoped.. but with the next update looming, I'm feeling good overall about what'll be ready for April 1! At this point in the dev cycle, I'm focusing on finishing up things that I've been working on, as there are a lot of partially-finished ideas that aren't fully play-ready. So without further ado, here's what I've been working on!

CASSIDY: As the winner of our latest poll, Cassidy has earned some extra dev time! I have been updating sprites and events for her skills, so that Kiera will appear in her actual current outfit (rather than just overalls every time). Mostly been working on the dress sprites in that regard (see pic). I'm having a bit of fun with it- since checking her in a dress would be different than with overalls, you'll get to see a different pose from Cassidy when she checks a dress-wearing Kiera! I've also added a Cassidy sprite on the map so you can recruit her into your party whenevs (as long as she's not already in it). Part of the idea behind her character is that she's a loose cannon who descends on Kiera when she's in precarious situations and bab's her up, but until the story is developed further, I think it makes sense for her to be more accessible.

POTTY/ACCIDENT EVENTS: I've been working on finishing up Kiera's desperation, accident, and potty events for when she's in panties! (See pic). I've added potty scenes for mild desperation, and want to eventually have several in place for when she's REALLY desperate (ie, having scenes where she wets as soon as entering the potty room, right in front of the potty, and scenes where she just barely makes it). But for now, I'll probably just have one mild desp scene and one major desp scene, until I have time to flesh out more ideas. I've revamped her overalls + panties desperation scenes for when she needs to pee (the scenes that occur when you get potty alerts). I am almost finished her #2 desperation scenes and need to finish the actual accident animation for that. And then I need to work on having some basic sprites in place for her when walking around in wet and/or messy pants. So that'll be something to focus on finishing up over the next bit!

ABDL TRAIT: I've continued to realize how many things around the map an abdl would be excited about! While Kiera has tended to be bemused or embarrassed about the items in the potty room, she'll now have different reactions to them as an abdl (see pic). Hopefully by the time the update drops, picking the abdl trait will feel like it makes some significant, silly changes to the game!

PLOT/ADVENTURES: I have been working on the playpen adventures! There will be another stage or two of progress available in Don Don and Steph's quests. Central's quest might not be ready for the update, as I have to make a new Amazon NPC sprite for the person who's supposed to be guarding the mysterious hallway door (yes, there IS supposed to be someone there :P). I'm trying to get at least an intro to the boy's club in place (see pic), but am going back and forth between holding off until that area is REALLY ready, or having an intro to it that doesn't have everything in place yet. (Any opinions on that?)

SPRITES: Still working lots on updating the sprites of different outfits! Overalls + panties, dress + diapers have been the focus so far this month.

Sooo yeah, that's about it for now! For the rest of February, I'm hoping to keep working at the things listed above, as well as Miss Laura interactions, t-shirt + diaper sprites/interactions, a few "training" events, and whatever other things I'm forgetting I need to work on right now!
