Mid December Progress Report (+Patch)

Hey everybody! First off- I've updated the pinned post with the probably final patch for the December version. It should fix a few of the bigger problems, such as the game acting weird if you don't mega skip, the slide messing with sprites/causing crashing, the sleep timer going wonky, and fewer bugs with the dress sprites. Not much extra content, just fixes a few issues mostly. It does have an introduction to bedwetting though! (Chance to wet, increases with lower potty training. But can't leak or poop in bed yet, soon TM)

SO even with doin the ol bug-fixin, I've had a pretty good start to the month! Having these monthly polls is proving to be super helpful for deciding what I should work on. So here's what I've been up to:

Spritework! I want Kiera to be able to waddle around in equal proclivity no matter her outfit.. whether she be in her overalls, dress, or just her diaper and t-shirt. So I've been working on more dress sprites, including a messing animation from the uh.. rear end, that I'm pretty excited about :P I have made progress on her being able to interact with more after she's leaked and stuck in just a diaper, so that you won't be forced back into overalls at the end of the timer.

The mini RPG! Had some inspiration with this after not having worked on it the entire last patch. You'll be able to get some variety with it depending on your current party, who will join in on the adventure- like Cassidy (see attached pic), who is more than happy to tag along with a diaper bag slung over her shoulder, ready to help Kiera out if she gets too scared. I am working on adding more variety to the type of monster encounters, the chance of accident when fighting, and just more dialogue and animations in general.

The sleep system! The latest patch includes most of what I've worked on for the sleep system so far, but it won't be too tough to add leaking and messing to the mix. I'm excited to get this properly added to the game, as it will add something fun and reoccurring to spice things up when Kiera starts to get grumpy/sleepy.

Trait interactions! Now that I have some animations finished for Kiera's abdl and scaredy-cat accidents, I've started to work on more interactions with those two traits in mind. I'm hoping that soon, the game will start to feel markedly different based on the traits you pick, which should add some replayability!

Save system! This has been my kryptonite for a while, but I think I have a good handle on getting this to work. I've been tinkering with it a bit again and may be able to put something together by next update. I don't want to promise anything on that, but have definitely made some progress with it.

Training system! This is one of the newer buttons on the interface.. Can't remember if I've gone into much detail about it, but basically you can "train" Kiera to have accidents in certain situations. So if she keeps wetting the bed (see attached pic), she'll start to have a higher chance of wetting again.. and so on. There's also a "training" event if she messes after eating playdoh. I plan to add lots of these events, since part of the idea of "Baby Maker" is that you can guide her towards being the type of Baby you'd like :P

Sooo yeah, apart from bug fixes, that's most of what I've worked on so far! Gotta say.. it's 2 weeks into this update block and I'm already super excited for the next update.. so that's a pretty good sign! I'll probably keep working on what I've started this month, and start diving into more panties accidents and potty training business over the next 2 weeks.
