End of October Progress Report

Hey friends! Thank you so much for being here and supporting the game! I am continually flabbergasted at how awesome y'all are, and I can't wait to share more of Kiera's adventures with you :)

I am excited for the December update, as it will mark 1 year since the first release of Baby Maker! I recently played the first demo again, and it's fun to see how far the game has come since then, haha. But there's still so much more exploring to come!

ANYWHO, as far as progress over October, it was a productive month and lots of things have been coming together!

Firstly, I have really been trying to get Kiera's second outfit finished for all of her interactions and animations. The princess dress will be a major focus of this update, including a sizeable advance in the Princess plot, a new room, a cameo from a certain fashion-savvy Tweener, and an introduction to a new Little character! I'd say a good 50% of my dev time has been spent on Princess-related activities lately.

I have been working on stuff with Miss Laura! You'll be able to recruit her as a party member, and she'll have some preliminary interactions to do with the Hunger system, which will be implemented a bit for December. Just like with sleep, Kiera gets hungry over time, and needs to go for a snack! Depending on Kiera's stats and her relationship level with Miss Laura, she may get her snack at the big kid table, end up in a highchair.. or even get stuck in Miss Laura's lap! There's a lot of spriting and coding still to do for this, so I'm not sure if we'll get to the later-stage feeding methods for the upcoming update (such as nursing), but you'll at least be able to see some new spritework for her in the game files ;P (as well as some consistency for her size in-game)

The buddy system has been coming together! You'll be able to take a couple relationship steps with certain NPCs and see how that all works :) Every NPC has different interests, so they'll start to like Kiera for different reasons (many of them through some type of babyish behaviour, but some not!)

The playpen plot is moving forward- there should be a couple more adventures ready for that by the updoot! You may find that there is more to the Little boy and girl in the playpen than meets the eye...! :O

There is more coming with the potty system! The next update will include stuff like more general potty interactions, adding ABDL and Scaredy-cat trait interactions, and having more involvement from Blossom in Kiera's potty progress (or regression as it may be!~).

I have also taken some time to plan ahead on plot stuff. Not really things that you'll see in the next update, but it's stuff that will be coming relatively soon. Not to spoil too much, but some upcoming things will be meeting the Boys' club and finding out what's behind that weird door in the hallway!
