V0.9.02 (May 20, 2025)

New game features

- Some recruitment groups can now exempt the up-front recruitment cost (but not the daily payments)

-- This is currently only used when recruit tomb raiders in the Giusburg Catacombs Treasure Vaults

New game content (quests/writing/art/etc):

- Starting work on new main storyline quest, Spelunking for the Signet.

-- This quest begins automatically after Journey into the Ashes in completed. Level 12 is the minimum recommended level for it.

-- The quest is written up to when the party gains the signet ring, but no escape content exists yet, nor traps and random events. Be warned you will be trapped inside!

- Added in shades artwork by Icy. These take part in the the new Spelunking for the Signet quest.

- Added in new tavern background custom-drawn by GlobbinArts

- Added new artwork for plague bimbo dynamic forms to differentiate that form from the recovered plague bimbo, which remains using the previous artwork. Plague bimbo art is by GlobbinArts

- Added in artwork for Neia post-transformation into a mermaid. Art is by GlobbinArts.

- Added in artwork for Lady Earwaine, bunnyknight of Queen Barthuria's court in Carrotlot. Art is by GlobbinArts.

- Added in more Vyndaii facial expressions. Art is by silververity.

Miscellaneous:

- Map objects that emit looping sounds (such as magical barriers, waterfalls, and the new campfire crackling sounds) are now set to use the Ambience mixer group, allowing its volume to be changed independently of sound effects

- Slimegirl attack Gooey Bite now has a chance to cause the transformed victim to betray the party to be consistent with Goo Launch

- Goo launched betrayal chance slightly lowered when performed against allied units

- Some forms now have additional particles in battles

-- Shades emit a black mist

-- Plague bimbos sporadically emit small toxin symbols

Cheat/Debug controls (patreon-backer builds only):

- Giusburg Catacombs Treasure Vaults added to teleport target list

- Giusburg Catacombs added to teleport target list

Bugfixes:

- Bugfix for CompanionStatChangeEffect affecting companions not in the party at the time of its execution

- Bugfix for reading disgruntled engineer's journal from the Reprogramming In Progress for the first time after the quest is already completed causing the book panel to get stuck open

- Display fix for mouseover status effect start of turn damage display

- Fixed some issues on tilemaps using obstacle layers where incorrectly placed tiles could display overtop the the movement range hexagons and make certain tiles look unaccessible when they are
