Virginia City is probably right in that little nook on the highway south of Reno before it does all that twisty bullshit where the two roads meet. That middle road coming out of Reno to the Ponderosa is missing on the "real" map, and the Washoe looks poorly mapped, but I agree, you could imagine the Ponderosa nestled in there between Tahoe and Washoe. I think that's boomer vacation territory now, though, and not actually the range.
