Today we have a new build, a first Episode 10 Screenshot and amazing News about a cooperation with Lovense!
We have a new build for you with Unreal 5.5.4. We managed to convert to the new version and did some basic optimisations. It´s not yet fully optimised, we will start that soon, in combination with Customisation 😉

What's new:
Upgraded Unreal Engine version to 5.5.4 (latest), this should improve performance and stability out of the box especially for lower end devices.
Temporary disabled DLSS until we update it to the newest version. It will be back as soon as we finish more testing. It actually caused a lot more troubles than improving stuff. And the Unreal internal Upscaler showed a better performance (with just a bit worse Visuals). We'll keep you posted how it goes!
Added automated detection of Video Settings at the very start, before you enter a Game-Mode. That will help a great deal
Added Steam achievements integration (with the first batch of test achievements)
Added Trinity to the character selection
Added more Save and Load options to the story mode (open the pause menu to manually save,load,delete save files)
Improved Auto-detect settings and added a pop-up to trigger it when starting a new game.
Update of the ocean simulation to its newest version.
Added gamepad support to the car
Bugfixes:
Fixed an authentication issue for Affect3D
Fixed loss of input when loading game while in a dialogue
Fixed an erectile dysfunction problem when pressing the climax button (how anti climatic!)
Fixed Brittany and Trinity's names being translated in some languages in dialogues
Fixed money being added when buying first aid kit Fixed Carmen hair not being simulated Fixed Carmen's ... Bits poking out
Fixed sound not resuming at the end of playing a movie in Studio Mode
Fixed a critical crash when saving and loading in Studio Mode
Fixed dropped weapons not being saved
Fixed a sunbathing cutscene where it was ignoring the character selection choice
Know Issues:
Loading the game multiple times in the same instance of a game (never restarting the game) gradually breaks the game. If you experience the game breaking, restarting and loading might help. We are investigating the right way to fix this.
Improper character physics (Superpowers to push the car etc)
Rare instance of T-Posing when exiting a dialogue in water
Savegames from previous Versions don´t work
Upcoming Features:
LOVENSE devices support implementation in Studio mode! Connect your toy through the App and sync it to feel the thrusts in Studio mode 🥳🥰

So we contacted the Lovense Team and they were very responsive and supportive! We will test the integration the coming week(s) and release it first on Patreon and later on Steam.
We are really excited about that, because they will also help to promote Treasure Island 🥰
Customization: We will roll that out in Layers. First only super basic (Skin/Hair/Eye Colour) and then gradually add more and more stuff. I want a lot of the Outfits to be re-done to match the better Quality of Treasure Island compared to, let´s say PoseViewer.
So, I barely slept this week because I had to finish the final Edit of Episode 10. And it´s done!
And as a first Premiere you can enjoy the very first in the header. We don´t have a name yet, hence why it´s missing in the Logo. Also the Visual Quality will improve a bit more. I really only focused on getting the edit done for now.
Next steps:
Prepare it for the Voice-Over Artists. That includes some editing in the Video Editing Software, like adding Subtitles.
Giving the edited Version to the Voice-Over Artists & Sound Editor & Music Composer
While waiting for them to come back to me - Create outfits for all Characters involved
Create Marketing Material (Trailer) and start marketing. We will have the company that is doing the Marketing for Treasure Island help with that. For me, Marketing was always just a posting a couple of Screenshots and the Trailer a couple of weeks before the release. Well... That should be improved and there should be some Hype created. Fingers crossed it works and we make enough sales so we can reach Break-Even.
Since I focused fully on Episode 10, I did not have time to render the short clips with the DoubleDildo. I will do that for next week's update.
We will change some stuff for the Reward Tiers next week. We have not increased prices for most of the tiers for several years, so it´s time we do that. Since life is getting more expensive (Inflation, etc.) and we need to pay bills as well, it´s a step we have to take. So we made the decision to raise the 15$ Tier to 18$.
This will NOT affect existing pledges! That is just for new Patreons!
Insider Tip: if you want to have the current rate, better pledge before next Friday 😉
We are also bouncing Ideas of how we can add extra Value to Patreon. One thing would be earlier access to higher tiers (50$ and more) with preview builds. Then release for the 18$ pledge later and then latest on Steam & Affect3D.
Another would be, adding you in Credits (would you even like that?) and some other things.
The extra Patreon Value things are not set in stone and we are open for feedback of course!
