Today we are proud to give you new movies and a new Build!

Since we reworked the whole Character system, our main goal was to get the game working again overall. This involved redoing everything in a streamlined and efficient way, which was a lot of work. However, it will pay off in the Future because we are much more flexible. And honestly, redoing everything in a bit more than 1 month (the last build was in December) is pretty damn impressive. We are very very proud of our coders! 🥰
First of all: Save & Load is still missing. Since redoing basically everything (and that being stable & working) there was simply not enough time to also implement save & load. We will tackle that next!
Controller Support is not 100% done. And if you start the game, disconnect your controller first and then connect it again after starting. That should solve any spinning/mouse cursor stuck issues.
New Features/Improvements:
We are officially in Alpha-Mode (not Pre-Alpha)! 🥳🥳🥳
Unified UI! Yes! We now have one UserInterface solution for everything. That does not only look better, but also behaves! No more layers of overlaying UI, no more not-clickable Buttons etc. All neat and tidy!
Optimized Character System. The Memory footprint is not even 10% of the previous ones. That means better performance and better management of new skills. I mentioned it before but I can say it often enough: we have a very streamlined and most efficient Gameplay-Ability-System now. That means we can easily add/remove/test abilities, Attributes, and so on, without breaking other systems. This is such a time saver for all future work on all future projects 💪😎That was also the reason why things took longer from the previous build. We re-did everything!
You can now customize Key-Bindings
Removed Weapons Wheel (that was just too confusing for people)
Visual Feedback improvements in general. Like picking up stuff, getting a "you picked up Item X"
New Quest Journal. That is not 100% final yet because we are missing some functionality. But we no longer have the Quests as constant (and very distracting) overlays all the time. You press TAB and show/hide the quests. Neat and tidy again 😎☺️
Crocodiles hunt you and can also kill you 🐊💀

Improved Camera work for aiming & shooting
Hit Markers: to indicate when you actually hit something. That is amazing as visual feedback to know if you hit or miss. That was a small but veeeery important detail missing before. Now we got that as well and it adds a lot. Especially useful for shooting at things a bit further away (Deer, Chicken
We will next focus on adding more content & features (like Save&Load, Full Controller Support, Enemies, Combat, Underwater Flora & Fauna, more Vehicles, Skilltrees, Trinity playable, etc.), polishing and also already with Chapter 2 😎
