This post is a bit on the longer side since itยดs the last proper Update from us for this year๐
In this Update is our last playable Build for this year because we are on Holiday from December 24th until January 7th. We really need that break... ๐ฎโ๐จ
I do have one more short Movie Update for you for New Year though ๐
Let's get right to it then ๐
In this build, we have the first implementation of the new User Interface (and the corresponding backend). Everything should be working regarding pressing buttons, interactions and so on.
We did not manage to get the Save&Load functionality in this build, there was just not enough time. Sorry for that... But just the new UI on itยดs own is a major update because it now enables us to easier handle all that. That goes from Main Menu, to ingame Menu, to Pop-Ups with Infos, and much more.
Short summary for this Version:
The (main) Story mode of Chapter 1 is complete in this build ๐
First implementation of the new UI (not consistent throughout the game, but for the important parts). And with that first implementation, a lot of cool features were added! There will be further updates on that (like Gamepad) after Christmas. But for now we are happy to have a first start with the implementation done.
Graphics Settings are working from the start ๐ We also have an "Auto-Detect-Quality" button you can try. Overall, just having that work, without any workaround should improve the Performance quite a bit! On some Systems the "Auto-Detect" results in "Epic" no matter what specs you have. That will be fixed after Christmas!
Controllers (we tested with an Xbox Controller) should work now ๐ชItยดs not polished and we still need to add more key bindings, but you can test it in general. Very interesting for us: does it work now with the controller connected before you start the game? It's fine on our end, but please let us know if it also works for you now.
Inverting both Mouse Axis, finally! ๐ฅณ
Lots of other things to tweak in the settings. Like Colorblind presets, Custom Key-Bindings, and much more.
The Studio Mode should crash a lot less (the crashes were related to the Transform-Gizmo previously), and the game should be in a stable state overall. Please note: we disabled the Movement/Rotation Gizmo because it was most likely causing the crashes. For turning the characters BEFORE you place them, you can use the Mouse-Wheel. We will add a new Gizmo for that after Christmas. But we wanted to give you a version you can play around with, without crashes. So itยดs an ok trade-off for now.
Added an option for the passive girls in Studio mode to disable Dicks/Strapons completely so they can be "just girls" if you want them to.
Replaced some duplicate Characters in the Village
Added an investigation mode for finding Jenny's charger. Thatยดs a very cool thing. We will need more investigations in the Future and having that specific mode is very handy for that ๐
Bug fixes, Optimizations, clearer Quest tracking, and lots of quality-of-life improvements in general
It's definitely a nice build for you to play around with during the Holidays. We did not finish as much as we were hoping, but on the other hand, we can be really proud of what we achieved ๐๐ช๐We are a very small team after all.
Plans for the Updates when we are back from the Holidays:
Finish implementing the UI for all aspects of the game
Add Save & Load functionality!
Cleanup the Project. Thatยดs a major task also. We had a lot of testing, added assets like crazy and the whole project is very bloated. We need to clean that up properly so we have a solid system to continue with for Chapter 2.
Improve Performance & Visuals (Vegetation!)
Add GAS (Gameplay-Ability-System). Itยดs a technical thing, but down the line, it means we can easily tweak the balance of things (like Health of Animals, Damage taken, Damage inflicted, Weapon shooting rate, etc.) Thatยดs super important for adding new features and being able to easily and quickly tweak them from the start.
Adding more Life everywhere. Animals on land, Fish, Sharks, Underwater stuff (Corals) etc. Ideally, we have running/flying/shouting/waving/shooting/moaning/etc. encounters a lot more often.
Polish the Sound-System. Itยดs nice already, but some things are driving me crazy. We will then also have nice effects like different sound behaviours inside caves, buildings, etc. Also, different footstep sounds for different Surfaces!
Create a new main Car. The current one is too sluggish and just not great
Add more vehicles (for example Jetskies)
Polish the shooting experience - also not very satisfying right now. Bullet impacts are completely missing for example.
Adding exploding Barrels/Stuff. And explosions in general. I love to blow stuff up "Kaboom!" ๐ฅ๐งจ๐
Add Tourists to the Island. And probably a Nudist part of the Beach ๐
Add procedural Quests so the World feels more alive
With Tourists and Quests - add more Sex to the World ๐
Add Sounds & Particle Systems
Add Combat
Once we are done with that, we will switch to the next Engine Version (Unreal 5.5). With 5.5, we will also introduce Customization & Outfits. But only after we switch because there is a really neat and new way of doing that in 5.5, and it would not make sense for us to do it in 5.4. But before we switch we need to finish the points I mentioned above.
Oh and of course we have the hot Triangle Pose rendered in 3 Movies (Day, Dawn, Night) for everyone who does not have a PC to play it. Featuring Brittany, Trinity and Mizuki (Futa-Version)

Work on more Chapters & Features for Treasure Island:
Of course, we want to start the next chapter as soon as possible! Especially with Combat, Riddles, Traps, Artefacts & Treasures!
Improve the Cumshot System:
There are some promising approaches we will have a look at to improve the Cumshot system.
Improve the Studio Mode (also with Save & Load of scenes you create, better Camera controls for Movie-Cameras)

You can see, we have a lot of plans for a lot of content next year. I am personally looking forward to polishing Treasure Island. We spent a lot of time setting up the core technology & framework which is rather boring. Itยดs not 100% done, but the biggest chunk is! So we can soon start with the more fun part. Like Enemy behaviour, adding & tweaking Explosions, more Vehicles and so on and so forth ๐ฅณ๐ And of course your Feedback and Input for Features you would like to have is more than welcome!
