we hope you had a great week!
My week started with a Shock... My Mum had a stroke and was brought to the Hospital.
Good news: she was super lucky and does not have any Brain damage! She is still there for surveillance but should be released on the Weekend. Fingers crossed 🤞
On top of that we are all slightly sick and the little one barely sleeps because he has a stuffed nose and therefore can´t breathe properly. But that is also getting better already 💪
So yeah, after the Flood, now a Stroke and sick Toddler is not so great... But most importantly: everyone is relatively well! And I am so relieved my Mum is alive and has no lasting damage... That was really a big shock and I am still not fully over it...
Besides from the Shock with my Mum I also forced myself to get some work done. Last week was very productive and then after I heard my Mum was fine, I also sped up work this week. I did work at night as well again, to do some catching up, but there are will still be delays for the release of the Demo. They guys were super busy on the coding side though!
Just a short Summary of what we achieved:
First sequences for Sex Scenes you will encounter in the Demo. There will be 13 options/possibilities in total for the Demo. There will also be a very first passive Male option. And for those who are repulsed by that: you also have the option to knock him out 🤛No need to have Sex with him if you don´t want to😉 All male Sex encounters are optional, so no need to worry!
5 new Poses including Climaxes

2 new Climaxes for existing Poses
Tons of Mocap animations! Including cleanup, retargeting to our Characters and implementing them in Unreal
Map System: This is great for usability so you always know where you are and where you need to go.

Much improved animation blending in the Dialogue System. They come along really nicely! We have a test with multiple Characters here => YOUTUBE Link
Please note the dialogues (Camera position for example) are still subject to polishing!
Auto-Blinking in the Dialogues (not yet implemented). Right now we have the emotions but the characters never blink. In order to not having to animated that for every possible version, we will automate the blinking randomly 😎

Major improvements for UI. That is something I did not have on the radar, but bad coded UI is really performance-hungry and a major pain in the Ass. So we tackled that as well.
The game is still in a state where I don´t want to release it just yet. I am really sorry for the delays. I am sure you understand that with a "Century" Flooding, cleaning up afterwards, Stroke of my Mum and sick Kids you understand things take a bit longer. We are really working hard (no pun intended) to deliver the Demo asap, but it just takes some more time.
The project grew quite a lot organically so there are more things to consider (like the UI issue that popped up, Engine Bugs we encounter, etc.). But we really have a great and solid Project from a technical, story and visual Point of View. Many things are under the hood that you will never see but will make it much more enjoyable to play. And just the dialogue workflow also makes our lives easier to populate the game with more content once the Demo is done. But yeah, things take a bit longer but therefore create a really solid foundation for the future. I really don´t like to not be able to deliver as we initially planned, but yeah... Also Life happened (Flood, Stroke, Sickness, Bugs, etc).

The plan is also to release the Demo first on Patreon, so you guys can give us Feedback on an actual fully playable Version so we can then improve it and release it "to the wild" on Steam.
