Episode 6 - Night Version & Next Project

Episode 6:
So this week I was trying to get the Night-Version of EP6 done. I am fighting a lot with unstable Light baking in unity, but we are getting there. Next week it should be done.
I will also have my favourite Trailer-Editor working on the trailer then, which hopefully is done middle of May. So we then have 2-3 weeks for creating more hype and introducing 3dxhub.com to the public. The last 2 weeks of May I will use for testing & polishing.
The Movie Maker version will (at least at first) not have climaxes included for poses where there is no climax in the Episode. But the beauty of real-time projects is, that we can have patches :)
Next Project:
Some of you might remember that I mentioned a Patreon-Only project where you can check out poses. Basically a Pose-Viewer with different environments and you can load new poses dynamically.
We decided to do that next, because once we have it, I can easily update it with new poses and you will get content updates a lot faster. This will be our first project in Unreal Engine. Since it´s not as complicated as a game, it´s a good first project to get to know the Engine. Of course we are also already working on the story & game-design of the next game while we create the pose-viewer. You will get a first idea of the plot at the end of Episode 6 ;)
Alright, I am back fighting Unity's Lighting system ;)

2021-04-30 19:11:03 +0000 UTCI have not thought about the island yet, because that uses a lot of Unity specific stuff that I can not just move to Unreal (like the Terrain). I would have to create it again from scratch in Unreal. But I plan to do that anyway :) But first it will most likely be the Apartement, then then Museum, then the Throne Room and then the Island. Slowly but surely. And some Sci-Fi environment would also be nice. I also need to come up with standards for heights. Like ground, sitting, laying, standing. So we can apply all sitting animations on things like couches, chairs etc. There is a lot of preparation needed and a lot of re-working existing poses to meet those standards. But we will get there :) And it´s easier to update the pose-viewer because we can build on pre-existing stuff. And when I want to add another pose, I don´t have to create a whole new game/episode.

2021-04-30 18:39:21 +0000 UTCThat's awesome. I was toying with idea for the longest time of suggesting a photo mode for the grrls on the island. Besides the grrls being hot, I really love the island environment and could imagine a lot of fun exploring with the scenery with them and taking pictures. I never bothered telling you though because I figured you already had so much on your plate. It sounds like the Pose-Viewer will scratch that shutter-bug itch. ^_^
