Dual-Stereo Speakers (additional guide)

Hey everyone, I've FINALLY finished the additional tips-and-tricks guide to go along with my dual-stereo speaker project. In it you can find full details of the crossover & smoothing circuitry, dimensions and cutouts (CNC files and also a square version that's easier to build), and extra info about some cool bluetooth receiver boards that work as a stereo pair if you don't want to go with ear buds. Enjoy!

It's not possible to post pictures here, is it? I'm still trying to figure out the exact x-over wiring. I think I do understand it, but I'm not entirely certain. It's somewhat visible in the video but not completely. I guess this could be the most likely point for causing issues.

The volume is only controlled by the signal source, right? Like eg a phone that is connected via BT. The amp in the guide obviously has no volume control? That's all i can think of.

Hey Billy, I'm just curious: did you figure out what caused the low volume? I haven't started building yet.

Has anyone else finished making these themselves? I've wrapped up my build but the speakers seem to be really quiet compared to what I was expecting. I have a feeling it's more likely something I've done wrong rather than something wrong with the instructions

Hi Matt, the file **DIY Perks Ear-Bud Speaker.svg** seams to be incomplete. Like cropped. Can you please check?

PSA to anyone who's using galaxy buds for this: The adhesive inside of the earbuds is very persistent, however a decent spudder or a razor blade should do the trick.

What type of capacitor can be used instead of the electrolytic ones? Ceramic caps?

Great! Thanks! How do I have to wire the cross-overs? Are they placed in line - before the amps? In the video you use a stereo amp. Do you use one channel (eg left) for the sub and the other (eg right) for the mid/trebble? How is everything connected then? Also: I too looked for alternatives for the buds: If you search for "tws bluetooth audio board" (e.g. on ebay) there are also some with integrated amp. But these would require (tradiitonal) x-overs placed after the amp, right?

Sweet! Got all my parts already just needed the values for caps and resistors.

Can the filters be still used exctly the same with the advanced stereo audio receiver boards?

Thank you for all your work!

Fantastic work, thank you!
