You can get custom made triplet lens projection glass, from back when people made DIY Projectors from 12 - 17 inch LCD Panels... https://www.aliexpress.com/i/32740555449.html or you can buy a literal 'projection lens' made for projection... some of these are large enough for a good picture, what he explains is kind of incorrect, you don't need to make sure the LED width is the same as the lens hole, but the collimation of the LED Panel for the focal length of the fresnel. It's a bit confusing to try and explain ... but I added a link here to a perfect projection lens that will suit.

It's on the Patreon page on the website. Did you find it?

I don't think it will make much difference. They're essentially the same.

Would using the 4k lcd screen with the control board instead of the phone lcd screen allow more light to get through and help with some of the brightness issues and vignetting?
Those screens are specifically for this kind of project aren't they?

Hello, I want to ask if the lens can be removed with a special projector. Because the shot you sent is hard to buy.

The ideal size would be 5.5 inches, but it all depends on the focal lengths of your fresnel lenses and projection lens. I would say the maximum is what your projection lens can cover, which can vary, but 5.5 inches is a safe bet, and it worked for me.

This was a really cool project, and it took me forever but I finally got it done. The written guide has been done really well too.

Hi! I love your ideas and the way you make nice things out of them. I also like, that you take time to make a project perfect and then show it to other people. I‘m very into your recent project of the „true 4k home-cinema projector“. Could you please give a review of the projector? Because I‘d like to see how good it‘d fit for me. For example show it using in daylight, the distance it needs to get an image with 65“ or more, the contrast (not with bright images, but with an image of for example a nightsky). It‘d be a very nice thing for not just me to get some more impressions of the finished projector. Thanks in andvance and keep on doing such amazing projects. PS: I think there are some bad mistakes in my text and I‘m sorry for that, but I‘m not a native english speaker
