I'm happy to see Puck is still around, the previous episodes made it as if he is gone for good and with no explanation about him 🥹 well I still want to know what is he to Emilia before she was frozen, that part hasn't been explained yet I believe.

2025-10-23 00:05:02 +0000 UTCI love Roswaal because he's such a giant foil. I also agree he is very similar to Subaru because his actions cause enormous ramifications to the world around him. He is powerful because of immense effort, exactly the same as Subaru is even if it looks way different to everyone in the world. What Roswaal is doing and saying is easily described as delusional, but he's working with something else: the book. My guess is Roswaal's book is much closer to being like the book of Nostradamus. Everything in it is written in contradictory, confusing, and misleading terms which makes it open to interpretation. And he's been reading it for 400 years trying to decipher it. That's why when something shows up from his book that is practically 1 to 1 with the prophecies it gives him, he gains an enormous amount of confidence. Subaru is one of those instances. If you remember from the scene before he is still utterly convinced Subaru can't succeed, so that why he's defeatist in this episode. If Subaru can't meet the expectations of the book, his interpretation was wrong, and he's failed. The end goal of the book could be a mix of things. But we do know Roswaal needs to kill a dragon.

2025-10-22 20:38:42 +0000 UTCNot too much to say from here on out, since now we're starting to finally pay off for the setup from rest of the season we've seen. I personally think that Roswaal wants to revive Echidna, that's about it. Just because he loves her so much. That's my best guess at least. It was great seeing Ram finally stand up to Roswaal and follow what she wants to do. Glad Garfiel and Frederica also got to meet back up after so many years. It's really surprising how strong Garfiel can be, even though he's younger than his sister, yet he's stronger than her. Also you are correct, spirits can still exist without a contract, just like Puck was before he made the contract with Emilia.
