While wielding this pike, when a creature within your reach that you can see makes an attack, you can use your reaction to impose disadvantage on the attack roll.
The guardians of G’yath excelled at holding enemies at bay, using their pikes to interrupt attacks and strike from a distance. When a guardian entered its defensive stance, a lattice of protective energy emanated from their enchanted weapons.
Rarity Variants. These mechanics are in addition to the mechanics of the Uncommon version.
Rare - You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.
Very Rare - You have a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon, and a +1 bonus to your AC while holding it. When you use your reaction to impose disadvantage on an attack with this pike, the target of the attack gains a +1 bonus to its AC until the start of your next turn.
Legendary - You have a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon, and a +2 bonus to your AC while holding it. When you use your reaction to impose disadvantage on an attack with this pike, the target of the attack gains a +2 bonus to its AC until the start of your next turn.
