I see so that comparison is with the arrow Makoto fired at them in season 1, I don't think we have seen Makoto's maximum strength yet. maybe a battle against the goddess will display his true power 😂

2025-09-23 23:30:20 +0000 UTCRegarding Sofia's mention of Tomoki's attack being stronger than Makoto's, I don't remember if it was explained but essentially the explosion was a nuclear blast. It was technically more powerful than Makoto's "lake-creating" arrow if we go by how damaged the landscape was (not shown well in the anime sadly) and the after-effect Sofia and Lancer shielded themselves from was actually radiation from the blast. But yeah Makoto is much, much more powerful now than he was when he fought Sofia the first time so him and Tomoki are not remotely comparable.

He came from a world with no powers. The people from this world are infinitely more powerful than anyone in the world where he came from. But he's so powerful after coming into this world that even from the start he already had vastly more mana than anyone in that world. I'm not sure if that's Makoto's ignorance speaking and that he doesn't see himself as particularly strong and that he thinks that's why this world is weak. Or if he somehow knows more than what has currently been shown and that the people of this world truly are weak.
