Overlord Season 4 Episode 11 Reaction/Review

Comments

the final episodes will be available on sunday! 😉 I'm glad that you are enjoying the reactions 💖

SprinkleVerse

Such a great series, I can't wait to see the last two episodes!

Tarvo27

I see! so he really is not a player! thank you so much for the clarification 🥰🤗

SprinkleVerse

One thing to notice when PDL is talking is he mentions "pu-layer" and "en-pii-see". This is important because while he knows what they are and that they come from Yggdrasil, he doesn't know or understand the meaning of the actual word, confirming he is not a player and just someone who encountered them before.

HellToYou

OMG are you saying the dragon is responsible for how Ainz was brought into this world? I didn't understand what he was saying there 😱 I missed that part also about a player being summoned every 100-200 years! thank you so much for all this information, this is really interesting, I totally didn't pay attention to the theocracy mentioning such things before 🥹

SprinkleVerse

oh really? that is interesting. 😲 I totally thought he was a player because when he was talking with regritt in episode 1 of season 2, they mentioned the game name!

SprinkleVerse

I totally don't remember the dragon being mentioned in season 1, but yea in season 2 ep 1 there was a flash back but I didn't remember it in season 1. thanks for linking the dots for me haha. yea totally the dragon is in so much trouble, that wasn't even Ainz 🥲

SprinkleVerse

haha I was suspecting if it were pandora or Ainz because of Albedo's behaviour toward him 😂 and yes so true this king is no king at all, his son was smarter than him 🥲

SprinkleVerse

Aye, the king saying he is the last king... foolish! we lost the last king, and it seem like he didn't morn for him. I could be wrong about that, but still... Damn Padora's Actor got me as well. he played like his father very well in fact haha.

Crawlingchaos03

To link some of the dots back in season 1 when shaltear got controlled by the black scripture the reason they were even in the kingdom was something they said off hand aboutdealing with the platinum dragon lord (Tsa). Then in seaon 2 when we see Tsa and Regritt they look at the armor and there is a dent in the shoulder and he flashes back to the moment in season 1 where shaltear showed upduring his fight with the black scripture and not only did she kill and injure many of them, she also managed that blow on him. So even shaltear is strong enough for fighting Tsa even if it would be harder, now that he thinks Ainz is weaker he is in a real dangerous spot.

i dont think the dragon is a player i think he is just using stuff and knowledge he got from players who have been summoned into that world in the past.

sadly they cut out life half of the fight with PDL where PA continues to test his abilities, but this is actually the episode they semi-explains how ainz was summoned via context clues. When Tsa says "everything began with the misuse of our powers" is cut down a lot from his actually line in the LN, “Although the root of every wrong could be traced back to us, I will not seek forgiveness for that. I cannot allow you to continue on your current path of destruction. That is why — Perish.” alongside another cut line before that, “The deeds of those who gathered around my loving mother were wrong. They were wrong in the same way that father was. In the end, absolute power corrupts absolutely. It is the source of all faults.” This, along side some past lore, explains quite a few things. (side note, I'm sad they cut out PA's internal though of "this dumbass is finally talking" when he started monologuing) We know in the past back in the age of the eight greed kings and six great gods that there was a being known as the dragon emperor who was the father of Tsa, and confirmed to be a being over level 100. we know that every 100-200 years, a player is summoned into the world, as mentioned by the theocracy. these players all coincidently happen to have a world item on them. there are also cases of world items appearing without players, for example in a what if side story where Ainz is transported alone 200 years in the past, Nazarick appears on its own 200 years later. that same side story also has the Elder coffin dragon lord refer to Ainz as "filth of the dragon emperor." and many dragons seem to look upon there father with scorn. Tsa's line about absolute power corrupting also implies he had the same issue. We know that wild magic rivals or matches the power of world items, and with the power that he possesses, his magic was most likely unrivaled. from here we can infer what likely happened is the dragon emperor cast a spell to obtain the greatest power for himself, that being world items, and his magic having the power to make them real from Yggdrasil. however since world items offer the protection of the world onto players, they were dragged along side them, and that led to the downfall of the dragons, and the introduction of the Yggdrasil magic system. its technically still a theory, though a borderline confirmed one.
