Overlord Season 4 Episode 10 Reaction/Review

Comments

yea that was scary to be honest lol Ainz doesn't get so mad like that a lot, it's very rare 😓

SprinkleVerse

I think he could have taken over the country without needing to kill them all. but what the nobles did there at the end was the nail in the coffin 😭

SprinkleVerse

did Ainz actually consider not attacking? that is interesting. but yea his anger completely was clear after what the nobles did 🥲

SprinkleVerse

oh wow so he is related to her! the resemblance is very clear 😂 thanks for sharing that info 🤗

SprinkleVerse

the thing is, the only reason Albedo and Demi are so hung up on world domination is because they believe Ainz wants that, because of that misunderstanding in S1 EP2 (I think). if Ainz didn't say that I think non of this would be happening. 🥲

SprinkleVerse

for sure Ainz is super careful with every step he takes, even though he has the power to be a bit reckless. he is definitely not arrogant. Thank you for sharing all these bits from the novel! it's interesting to know more details about what was going on in there. I just feel sorry for the prince after these episodes 😭 Thank you for sharing all this information 🥰🤗

This is the last thought Zanac had before his fate and why he plotted for the throne: -- - He was not fit to rule after all. He did not have his father’s virtue, his brother’s charisma, or his sister’s intellect. He had nothing at all, but that was fine. He did not want to be king anyways, he merely wanted this Kingdom to be functional. - That was right. - To give unto this country, its people, and his family: - Happiness. - That was all. -- And I really like how the fan translation worded what Ainz said to Aura concerning "those" nobles' fates: -- A- “To those who do not wish to die, do not grant them death. That is my will.”

Ainz has a bit more thoughts of self-reflection in the novel and, after saying "happiness," even drops his act and speaks plainly as if talking to one of his friends. Zanac truly connected to his human side and may have been his only chance to ever act like his old self ever again. More detail is given to Ainz's "justification," though it is still lacking nuance and empathy: -- - They were essentially children that had been left behind by his companions. - Ainz, as the only one to have stayed behind, had the duty to protect them at all costs. - Because of this, Ainz was willing to sacrifice his all to ensure no harm ever came to the NPCs. In order to ensure that Nazarick would never fall to outside forces, he had to prioritize the empowerment of the organization’s every aspect. - Shalltear was dominated by some unknown entity in the past. Though he had succeeded in regaining control over her, if things had turned out any worse back then, important intel on Nazarick could have been made known to outsiders; consequently, it could have led to the destruction of the guild. - He could not allow something like that to ever happen again. -- Ainz values friendship, but his fears and doubts seem to have doomed him to suffering loneliness for the rest of eternity.

This was a conversation between Renner and Zanac, prior to his fate: -- Z- “...What kind of person do you believe the Sorcerer King to be?” R- “Abnormally flexible in his ways of thought, he possesses enough intellect and guile to scheme at a national-level. What is most terrifying about him is the fact that he does not simply rely on his overwhelming power, but meticulously plans out his every move. One could say that he is a monster to whom the concept of arrogance is completely foreign.” - Hoh? Zanac looked at Renner, something felt off about her. Her expression was the same as usual, but her voice carried an unusual emotion, that of awe and reverence. -- Renner has completely bought into the idea of Ainz having 1000 IQ. Though she isn't wrong about him "not simply relying on his power" and that he doesn't let arrogance get in the way of his plans.

RIP for the 👑

Rois Sidiq

Salute to the true king... those foolish nobles...I believe their family might get punished as well. I think deep down, Ainz believes that no one from the game is here. So, happiness for his guardians is the next best thing for him. Regardless of how cruel everything is. That's what I believe so

Crawlingchaos03

Like you summerised the blonde guy in the black scripture is clementine's brother. And he is more calm but still as capable of being a monster as his sister, just in a more calm way instead of getting pleasure from it like she does

Wayte Elsik

Ains did quite respect him and he considered not attking them after the talk with the prince but then they turned up with his head

taksumi yoko

Yes it is complete BS. His explanation is so bad. He has no need to do it.

apoc9

They made Ains angry not many people did that and no single one survived.

Rouoko
