When she met Shadow, she sensed that he was so fundamentally stronger than she was, she immediately did the dog thing (she's a canine girl, what type isn't exactly clear) and submitted by exposing her belly. She later met Alpha and tried to challenge her for second-in-command behind Shadow. Her behavior when Alpha scolds her makes it easy to deduce who won that fight.
