If he died he'd be resurrected again by Barbazar, as he demonstrated a few pages prior. It actually got a much worse fate, exposition coming in the next pages.
2021-04-20 18:19:19 +0000 UTCThis has been foreshadowed a lot :) Mostly in her dreams/nightmares where she'd randomly turn into Nimbus again, but also on page 345 where she thinks of "using that" to rescue Loraile under the debris. Furthermore, we can spot the philosopher's stone in Justina's chest at the very end of diaper quest, when Loraile departs. The whole comic is full of hidden details, I'll reveal all of them once it's finished ^^
