Heroic Ideas — Choose 2 community item ideas to be made!

Each week on Discord, community members nominate other members' suggested items to be made into official Saddlebag items. The top two most voted-for item ideas each week get made, following back and forth workshopping and discussion.

Ideas

1) Sulfurous Censer — This heavily rusted iron censer can be thrown to replicate the cloudkill spell. This version of the spell deals additional acid damage and creates difficult terrain as the noxious sulfur eat into the ground.

2) Ambitious Medic’s Badge — A magical badge etched with a raven feather and herb sprig. Wearing it replaces any lost limbs with blue, rubbery replacements, and you gain bonuses to Medicine checks you make while wearing it. You can also restore hit points to other creatures using your Hit Dice, and determine other creatures' creature types.

3) Wavebender's Surfboard — This incredibly tall, wooden shield features intricate carvings of waves and ocean life. If dropped into water, you can stand upon it and ride it as a surfboard, as it is magically propelled forward.

4) Blessed Egg of Divine Detonation — The bejeweled egg is infused with divine runes. When thrown, it explodes in a burst of radiant light, damaging evil-aligned creatures and healing good-aligned creatures. Paladins and clerics can use their Channel Divinity to further impower the explosion.

5) Alla Breve Blade — A forked blade that can banish creatures to their native planes of existence. By doing so, you can temporarily attune the blade to that same plane, allowing it to be used as part of the plane shift spell.

6) Dollhouse of Dreams — A hand crafted dollhouse that can replicate the inside of a known building. It can transform into a perfect replica of a building, control certain small objects in it, or allow you to see and interact with the known building via a spectral summoned toy.

7) Roasting Plate — This cast iron plate armor resembles cookware and features a door on its belly. You gain fire resistance while wearing this armor and opening the door reveals an extradimensional oven that can expertly bake meals you prepare. As an action, you can open the oven and release a torrent of fire, damaging and potentially cooking targets.
