While holding this horn, you can use an action to blow it. The blown horn exhales a plume of pollen and makes a sound that's audible out to a range of 60 feet. The sound is deep and echoes in the chest of those that hear it.

The horn has 10 charges, which are used to play various notes on the horn. The horn regains 1d6 + 4 expended charges daily at dawn.

Note of Brambles (3 charges). When you play this note, the horn duplicates the effects of the spike growth spell, centered on a point you can see within the horn's audible range. Thick brambles grow within the spell's area, up to the horn's audible range. The effect lasts for 10 minutes or until this property is used again.

Note of Communication (1 charge). When you play this note, you can communicate a single word to any plant that hears it. The plants understand the word, although they gain no special ability to respond as a result of using the horn.

Note of Plant Command (5 charges). When you play this note, any plant creatures that can hear it must make a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, a creature is charmed by you for 1 hour or until you or any of your allies harm or threaten it. You can issue a command as part of blowing the horn. Any plants charmed by the horn immediately obey the command, which they continue to follow until the task is complete, until you issue another command using this property or the Note of Communication, or until they're no longer charmed.

Note of Sun (1 charge). When you play this note, any fertile soil within the horn's audible range immediately begins to grow a thick layer of grass; flowers within that range turn to face the horn as if it were the sun.

When you expend the last charge from the horn, roll a d20. On a 1, the horn rapidly wilts, rots, and turns to soil in your hands, destroying it.

The earth hears me calling. I feel it quivering in the ground, in the trees, in the leaves. To you it sounds like noise: to the earth, it sounds like song.
