Heroic Ideas — Choose 2 community item ideas to be made!

Each week on Discord, community members nominate other members' suggested items to be made into official Saddlebag items. The top two most voted-for item ideas each week get made, following back and forth workshopping and discussion.

Ideas

1) Lower Level Linguist Loop — This bone-like earring allows you to choose one language each dusk to magically speak, read, and write. You can choose from Abyssal, Infernal, or Undercommon.

2) Patch of the Scaredy Cat — A canvas patch that can be attached to clothing over the course of 1 minute. Removing it as a reaction when you take damage or become frightened allows you to quickly move away without provoking opportunity attacks.

3) Veteran’s Armor — This well-worn armor allows you to rest in the armor without any drawbacks, you gain temporary hit points after a short rest, and you have bonuses against a forced march.

4) Salt Pick — This every-growing rock salt pick deals additional necrotic damage and it highly effective against oozes, dealing extra damage against them, slowing their speed, and stopping them from splitting apart.

5) Tidebreaker Axe — This worn axe has shark teeth affixed to its blade, and deals piercing damage instead of slashing. Once per rage, you may force a creature to attack you instead of an ally near you. You can also follow a creature that moves away from you.

6) Crypt Keeper's Amulet — You have resistance to necrotic damage while wearing this miniature mausoleum amulet. You can touch a dead creature to inter it in the amulet, gaining charges equal to that creatures CR. You can expend 20 charges to summon a flesh golem which follows your commands and takes on the appearance of the creatures interred.

7) Surface Seeker — A Small, magical minecart with a lamp on its front. When you fill it with valuables while in a cave, it makes a slow trek to the surface of the cave, showing you the safest route to travel.
