New 5$ feature: win a sketch
Added 2020-09-03 10:50:26 +0000 UTCI've always thought how to improve and empower the 5$ tier without using those debatable characters polls. We cannot randomly select a winner either due to Patreon rules. So I made up a simple contest where, at the beginning of each sketch cycle, I will post a picture with several hidden words in it. The first one to guess them all correctly wins a single regular character sketch. Here are the rules:
-Only 5$ patrons can win. If you are sitting at a higher tier feel free to play for fun, but you cannot be declared winner even if you correctly guess all the words.
-One must guess all words hidden inside a photography. The order doesn't matter but the spelling must be correct.
-Write your guess in the comments section of that specific picture post.
-Only ONE TRY per patron. You cannot rush this, you better be sure to spot what you think are all the words in the picture and double check your spelling. You can still write regular comments and ask questions or answer other people's comments.
-The words are tricky. Some of them are simple, others can be very challenging to find. The font size also changes from tiny to pretty big.
-It is advised to download the full resolution image and zoom in to find all the words.
-The winner can ask for a single character, non colored sketch that will be drawn along the coloration of a sketch for the contest winner for most likes (end of a cycle). The winner will have their picture drawn even if they drop out of patreon before the cycle ends.
-If no one makes a correct guess before the cycle is over, a new picture will be posted and the previous one's prize cannot be claimed anymore.
-The pictures are photos I have taken several years ago. I decided to use photos no one has seen before because if I used, let's say, artworks or comic pages, the words would be pretty easy to spot by overlapping them on the originals.
-Have fun!
If you have more questions feel free to ask in the comments.

If no one likes it I can just stop, but it's worth trying something new.

On paper it sounds great but knowing people, it’s either gonna be too frustrating or they’ll find a way to exploit the system. You sure this will work out for everyone, Sketch?
