August Status

Other than that, I'm just going to continue doing what I'm doing: Taking commissions, and trying to do some personal work in between. My commission status is still officially closed, because it's taking me a long loooong time to go down the list of people who wanted one. Most of you following me on patreon have been following for a long time, so you know how slow I am. I've pretty much embraced my slowness. That's why I pause payments so frequently. It's just become part of my routine.
If you didn't know, Patreon also has the option for creators to charge only when they post new pay-worthy material. Rather than the monthly option. It's better for work that releases irregularly like mine. That way, I don't have to manually pause unproductive months. I haven't enabled that pay option, because I'm not certain how to charge doodles. But seeing as how I'm not uploading doodles anymore, maybe I should enable it. Does anyone have an opinion on this?

Interesting. I didn't know there was a controversy with Patreon's censorship. They haven't changed any rules that would affect me, so I don't have a reason to leave. And as far as I know, the last time they censored anything was a few years back now. Cutting out stuff like incest, various non-con themes, and loli/shota. I get how that would affect other artist, but I wouldn't call their decision overbearing. It's just not the all encompassing free expression platform. Last I heard, Subscribe Star is far less restrictive. I've thought about going there. But so far, Patreon hasn't been inconvenient enough for me to make the move.
