Not a very creative title, but that's what I was calling it in the WIPs, and now I'm used to it.
It's a commissioned piece. It's of a character I've drawn before. The big one, that is. I was told to make her extra thick, so I went all out.
I also set aside my usual painting method of colorizing black and white values. This time manually choosing every color. So that is in part why it took me a long time.(among other things) I'm not accustomed to painting that way, so I was floundering in the beginning. But it eventually clicked, and got a lot easier near the end.
I'm hoping to paint more like this in the future. Because hypothetically, it should be easier than colorizing black and white. I just got to get more practiced at it, so it comes easier and faster.
Edit: added sketch
