Heroic Ideas — Choose 2 community item ideas to be made!

Each week on Discord, community members nominate other members' suggested items to be made into official Saddlebag items. The top two most voted-for item ideas each week get made, following back and forth workshopping and discussion.

Here are the randomly selected item ideas drawn from this week's nominations!

Ideas

1)  Coiffeur's Chef-d'oeuvre  — A bottle of hair styling gel that, after applying, allows you to control the appearance of your hair and allows you to use it as another free hand.

2)  Horned Bow of the Flame Unicorn  — A longbow made from a unicorn's horn. You can expend the bow's charges to imbue arrows fired from it with a burst of holy fire, dealing extra radiant damage for each charge expended.

3)  Solacesteel Plate  — This plate armor was once abandoned on a battlefield, but has been restored through a series of cleansing rituals. While attuned, you have additional cleric spells prepared and can make the armor shine brightly against undead, causing them to become turned.

4)  Coral Crasher Axe  — An axe made of seashells and coral. Over time, it grows larger and larger, becoming a more fearsome weapon. It starts as a handaxe and becomes a greataxe, gaining additional properties each time it grows in size.

5)  Build-A-Trap Kit  — This embroidered bag functions as an extradimensional space and contains a variety of materials that can be pulled from it to make an impromptu trap. When you reach into the bag you pull out three items at random from a list.

6)  The Forgotten Music Box  — A cursed music box that can cause creatures who hear it to become frightened. If the box is damaged, the last creature who turned the crank is beset by a nightmare that prevents long rest.

7)  Staff of Slicing  — A gnarled wooden quarterstaff that at first glance looks fairly ordinary. However, you can run your hand along its carved run to create a blade of force from its tip, like a sickle.
