Alternate Thumbnails for Wanda/Vampire

Ah, Wanda. It's been incredibly satisfying watching her popularity as well as her powers grow in the MCU! This video was based on a scene in Wandavision when Wanda is getting her kids and Vision ready to go trick-or-treating. I really like the background I used for this one with the golden leaves fluttering across the screen and fire burning in the hearth. The goal of this video was for it to feel extremely Fall, and I thought it was a good appetizer for the Halloween videos to come!

Technically, this video takes place in the world Wanda made for herself in Westview where she magically conjured both her children and Vision himself. It wasn't something I really wanted to focus on like I did in my Agatha video, as I thought pointing it out too much would take away from the cozy atmosphere I was going for.

You'll notice the costume I used here is the more classic version of Wanda's outfit as seen in the comics versus the leathery, biker jacket-esque one she usually wears in the MCU. The intention behind it was that I wanted it to look reminiscent of how Wanda looked as she dressed up for Halloween in the show, and I also felt it was a lot friendlier for the purpose of this video!

I don't have one currently planned, but I wouldn't be surprised if I end up doing another Wanda video in the future! And on opposite end of the spectrum, we have The Vampire. Outside of The Enchantress video, this is probably the darkest video I did for Halloween. Here, she's finally caught up with The Conduit at their apartment, and she's insistent on them either letting her in, or The Conduit coming out.

I took the more classic Vampire route of her not being able to enter a residence unless she's invited, and much of the video is her trying to convince The Conduit to let her in as she becomes increasingly threatening over time. Of all the monsters they've faced, I like to think The Conduit recognizes The Vampire as one of the more dangerous foes. She made it personal by visiting their home.

The Vampire is one of those characters that I'll only put out a video for if I have a really solid idea in mind. She's a powerful character for a lot of reasons, and I want her appearances to have a purpose to them. And for this video, the purpose was temptation.

If ya'll have seen some of my earlier Vampire vids, back when she first met The Conduit at a club (with that awesome music), she hypnotized them, at least for a little bit. I touched upon this briefly in a Slayer (Goth Girl's sister) vid, but the Vampire can control her mark to a certain extent with her supernatural charm. Although The Conduit is more resistant to curses than most, The Vampire's pull really is that strong.

And that's what makes The Vampire so dangerous. She's gets you to do things seemingly of your own free will, while really she's got you like a puppet on a string. Scary!

Luckily, The Conduit was able to resist her pull this time around! But! This leads directly into the next goth Girl video, where the consequences of what happened in this one come into play.
