Alternate Thumbnails for Elf Assassin/Evie of The Mummy

A pretty big trait of the Elf Assassin videos is that she's always meant to be portrayed as being one step ahead and thinks of the POV as a simpleton who is just a pawn to be used for her plans. So in this video I wanted subvert that and have the POV also be an assassin with their own mark for the evening.

The inspiration for this idea came from the Assassin's Creed video games, and when I was thinking of the POV I had none other than Ezio Auditore in mind. I thought of Ezio simply because I don't think there's another assassin that comes close to his charm and he's the only one that could possibly impress Elf Assassin with her lofty standards.

For Evie, I've wanted to do a Mummy video for a really long time, and I thought it was a really cool idea to connect it to the already established Van Helsing lore on my channel. I didn't want to immediately dive into Evie and her husband, Rick O' Connell, being together just yet so I instead sent Van Helsing on a mission to procure information from her from a prior mission he was working on.

This video is actually my own spin one of the first scenes in the first Mummy movie when Evie's working in the library and knocks down all shelves. To get even more meta with it, the reason Van Helsing went to visit Evie in the first place was due to a prior video where he had met what at that point was my own stand-in for Evie at the time, The Archaeologist. Funny how things come full circle!

Speaking of The Archaeologist, I'm working on a new video starring her and you can expect it soon! Think of it as a spinoff of the Van Helsing series. Due to the spirit of Spooky Season, it'll be significantly more horror-based than any of the past Van Helsing videos, which is why I want it to be it's own thing. So, look forward to that!
