Future on Patreon
Added 2017-12-09 22:07:25 +0000 UTCHey, peeps, I need your input.
Some of you may know this by now, but Patreon is implementing a new fee structure that will increase the amount of money you guys pay. Originally, we creators paid the service fee out of the amount we earned, but, apparently, now Patreon is making it so that patrons are paying the fee ON TOP of their pledges. This isn't cool. It isn't fair to the people who want to support their creators.
As of now I don't have a backup plan and that's where I would like your input. Are there services that you all already belong to, where you already support artists that have content similar to mine? I've looked at Gumroad, but from my understanding they are not adult content friendly. At this time, a new service called Drip is probably my best bet, but it's currently still in beta and invite only.
For those looking to leave Patreon before the new fee structure takes place, but still want to support me I have accounts with Ko-fi and Paypal.me.
I do not plan on getting rid of my Patreon and I will continue to post content here. For those that I support, I will continue to do so for as long as I am able.

Bri, I found your comic about 3 weeks after it started. I have been a silent reader for many years however I have read evon from start to current 2 to 3 times a year. Your comic and your art have gotten me through a lot. It has helped bolster my spirits through war, through the loss of loved ones, through being homeless with a family to support. After all I have been through I finally can say that I am in a position where I can be a patron of the arts in the truest sense of the word. I can afford to support those individuals that I believe contribute to the world. To be able to finally do this is a point of pride. I agree what Patreon is doing will drive off a lot of support from those who have it rough. This is horrible to both patrons and artists as a lot of people will not be able to continue their support. I will still support you for all you have done for me without knowing it. Lead and I shall follow. Stay here and I'll pay more. You are worth it. P.S. Thank you for thinking of us. You have proven once again that you make the world a better place.

2017-12-12 05:47:54 +0000 UTCThere's one creator I'll be dropping support for (for reasons beyond the billing changes), otherwise I plan to weather the situation. I'm hoping I won't suddenly be getting separate billings scattered throughout the month (which is something I've heard); I do prefer one bill a month that I can somewhat predict and set out funds for.
