I love him a lot and as you can tell, I sure do love drawing him with Ryz. A lot. I wonder why.
The one human in the crew, he's a sweet older gentlemen, caring for those he encounters. He suffers the same type of amnesia as his case partner, Ryz. He has no recollection of the events that happened during Chimera's illegal experimentation and the events that catapulted the story into place. But he recalls everything before then just fine. Everyone believes he may have had involvement with them, but he joins Ryz in the same journey for uncovering answers. I'd say more, but the rest of his story-line involve spoilers and I like to keep SOME things for suspense haha.
He has an admiration for those who carry on huge courageous tasks, and therefore, has such a big soft spot for Ryz. He's his biggest cheerleader!! He will follow him wherever he goes, even if Ryz doesn't want him to come along due to risk of endangerment. I can't wait to explore their journey together. ..
Funfact!: His design and some characterization was heavily inspired by Robert EO Speedwagon from JOJO's Bizarre Adventure!, and a few traits from Hassel from Pokemon! I really really love Speedwagon so... I think it's very obvious with Mort.
