CoC :: Ryz

More on Ryz, he has a hardened outer personality, always serious and uninterested in anything outside of his assigned cases. Beneath it all is a vulnerable man trying to find pieces of his puzzled past. He suffers from amnesia, so he only knows everything from after he was transformed into a Specimen, thanks to something known as the Chimera Effect.

Along his journey he is tasked by the agency that hired him to locate missing and lost specimens that roam the city. He can get very buried in his work, and has a hard time having "fun" or even relaxing, reserving his determination and mental energy for putting Chimera to an end. He is often without friends, and can't even form romantic relationships. He is aro, lovey dovey stuff is out the window, not that he has time for it anyways. Should a need arise, he will seek out flings. But that's it. Other than that, he prefers to work alone, but if he has to, he will work with others, if they stay focused at the task at hand. The only people he even considers close are the pair of human sisters who took him in the day he broke free from Chimera. He treats them as family.

He's super strong, possesses great agility and stamina, and more that surpasses the common human. His tentacles can form themselves into whips, lassos, makeshift limbs, and can also wrap around his body to create reinforced armor. But he's also equipped with regeneration, so he can heal at an accelerated speed. If provoked to absolute fury, he will become feral and out of control of his abilities, becoming much more monster-like. He's otherwise real good with self-control. He doesn't really like how he physically appears, however, even if people find him attractive otherwise. He is insecure about how he is perceived, but he bottles that deep down so it doesn't reflect outside.


Funfact!: I did a complete overhaul of his character from his initial concept. He looked more like a Venom-like creature at first, and was much more of a tease, and reckless. But I didn't think that fit him at all, so I made him much more serious. I'll let Aiden be the careless punk of the group haha
