Time Card: January

I said in my last video that I was taking some time off - that was a lie. I've been listening to a thousand-page book as part of my research for this next topic, Libertarianism, which took up the bulk of my time. This next video should explore how free market capitalism became mainstream - because it wasn't always.

I also spent a lot of time preparing for some website upgrades and setting things up for my Production Assistant, Rozarah, to work on the captions for old videos. My first 14 videos now have updated subtitles that actually match what I'm saying.

Yes, you read that correctly - I have a Production Assistant! Thanks to all of your support, I was finally able to hire someone to spend a few hours a week helping me with background/administrative tasks. She also doubles as my Community Manager, keeping all of the kids on the Discord in line.

Jehovah's Witnesses? I hope you do something including more about them. They deserve a sharp critique for sure.

That's about what reading any Ayn Rand book feels like ;)

"Yes, you read that correctly - I have a Production Assistant! " Er, simply putting a hat on a ferret doesn't make them a "production assistant". I'm looking forward to seeing the fruits of your prodigious labour.

1000 pages on Libertarianism? Woof. That's dedication.

Thank you for the hard work, I hope you have a good week

Almost completely, of course, Those "free people" there, for example, forgot their education in public schools, government-funded research that led to Internet they used to communicate, Interstate road system they traveled on to reach their paradise, NavStar constellation they used to navigate, NSF funded medical research that drug companies use and sell etc. They would be amusing were it not for their self-righteous blindness to reality.

Man, what a liar... %^)

Same for me, since I read the following article: https://newrepublic.com/article/159662/libertarian-walks-into-bear-book-review-free-town-project Since then, I wonder how much a libertarian society, to bring to it the resources/goods/knowlegde/learning it needs to stay afloat, actually relies on an external, non-libertarian society.

I can't wait to see your take on libertarianism!

Awesome that you have grown your channel to bring on a Production Assistant!
