2023-07-28 17:56:48 +0000 UTCIt was different from codex to codex, tlacuilo (scribe) to tlacuilo. Even within the Codex Mendoza, the eyes directions are various. Some of them are looking downwards, some of them are facing the front. I just chose the one facing up because it looked most natural.
