The big poll results, and various other things !
Added 2024-09-16 17:23:07 +0000 UTCHello there !!!
Well, after a running for a month, the big poll to see what should be the focus of the next updates has finally ended !!! So let's take a look at the results, talk a bit about it, and other few little things.
The poll results :
Well, let's not wait any longer, and reveal the scores :
- 1st : Pregnancy & kids, with 63 points
- 2nd : Continue the story, with 42 points
- 3rd : The village, with 26 points
- 4st : Expand what's already here, with 21 points

Test for a pregnant Illonia I did some time ago
So Pregnancy wins, by a comfortable margin ! I know a lot of people are really excited about it (I certainly am), as it was asked for a long time, so it's finally its time to shine. Get ready for big preggos bellies !
I saw quite a lot of people also saying it was best to add it first, since from there, it'll be easier to expand the game with it being implemented, than go back and adapt everything to it. And yeah, it's a valid take. It's already gonna be a lot of work to add it, and add pregnant variants in all the scenes, so the sooner, the better. I can also take it into consideration for future scenes, and content.
0.11 :
Well, first, I need to tell that 0.11 WILL NOT feature pregnancy content. I've already started working on, and I want it to complete a few things, so we can move onto the pregnancy focus in 0.12 and beyond.
0.11 will be focused around three points :
- Ending Ursula's quest, which will feature her rejunevation and her redesign, that you can find here : https://www.patreon.com/posts/ursulas-redesign-112104920
-Adding some sidequest and a way to repetedly increase or decrease your allegiance with the Bandits and the Goblins. This way you'll be able to finish Ursula's quest without needing to leave Illonia to the leaders.
-Adding a fast travel system. The map is getting big, and it'll be nice to easily move from one point to another.
Of course, there'll be multiples scene in this , like some short one for some sidequests, same for the fast travel, and a three scenes with Ursula's new model : One with Lothar, one with Illonia where Ursula will be a futa, and lastly a Selfcest scene (the winner of our monthly game scene poll).
The update overall shouldn't be too big, and I'll try to have it out around the end of October/mid-November.

Small test for hypreg I did on Blender, using Ursula's new model
0.12 & after :
This is the moment where we'll start to go in depth with the pregnancy system. To answer a few questions I saw, and others that will probably be asked :
-Every girl will be able to get pregnant, and from everyone.
-Girls who had redesign (Illonia, Ursula, maybe some others if I do one soon) won't be able to get pregnant before we get to her new model. Because that would be just too much work for not a lot.
-Getting pregnant will be based on luck. But you'll have items to make sure you get pregnant, or to make it impossible. You'll also have other items related to pregnancy, I'll think about it.
-There will be birth scenes.
-The kids' race and gender will vary (human, elf, goblin, etc...).
There are others things I need to think about, and decide how it'll go :
-How long does the pregnancy last ? How to you "control" it (just wandering around, going to sleep ?)
-Is there multiple stages for pregnancy ? (like with different belly size)
-What do you do with the kids, do you keep them all ?
-Could there be kind of a caretaker, managing all the kids ?
-Do the kids can grow up ?
-Hyperpregnancy ?
That, and many more questions I'm not thinking of while writing these lines. But yeah, it's gonna be a fun ride, I hope you're ready for it !!! Expect a few polls soon, so I can get an idea of what to for 0.12 ! Oh, and also, I'm gonna start makign small polls on Discord too ! They won't be for major feature, but just to understand the audiance a little more.

Small teaser of an animation I'm working on !
And with that, let's conclude that post ! Thanks a lot for your support, I hope you're as exctied as I am for the next updates !!! In the meantime, stay horny, and stay awesome !
Comments
Woaw, that's quite a large comment !!! Thanks a lot for taking the time to think about all this, and then write it down. It must have been quite a bit ! You make a lot of very good points, and interesting ideas. It's gonna help a lot ! Let's answer a bit all a this, no promise on eveything I say, but it's the direction I'd probably like to go. About the pregnancy duration and control : Yeah, overall I think I'll go for the simpler way of going through it, and tie it to the sleeping pattern. Much easier to implement, and you have a good control on its progression. Not the most realistic, but the best gameplay wise ^^ Multiples stages will definitvely be up to a poll, see what people want. Depending of the answers I might do two stages (nothing more, that's already a ton). Concerning the variations, well the scenes will require the most 3d work, to do an alt of each scenes (and some might require reworks for the pose, due to the belly). The talking pose are much easier to make, but will take much more work on the coding front. Overall, if I end up making multiples stages, I think I'll do the full experience, with it being represented in scenes and talking interactions. Concerning kids, I think there'll be various ways to "get rid" of them, including a few quest here and there. And maybe keep a few and set up a section for it, I think it should be interesting. I also had others ideas with them for the long term, but we're not here ^^ But yeah, I'll probably set up some gameplay elements around the kids and what to do with them. I find it sad, for the few games that gives us pregnancy and birth, to not do anything from there. Yeah, the caretaker is an idea that was heavily discussed on the discord, with people motivated to make a new character for it, others wanting to give more content to existing charatcers, suggestions of beign able to choose a caretaker between multiple options. Overall, I think I'll take a bit of everything, so it'll be some nice gameplay elements, and a good way to give content to character that were a bit put aside. For the kids growing up, thinking about it, I'll probably need to make them grow if we have a nursery part, so they have a progression and you have a goal to reach (making them grow). Maybe have them a sort of currency for some things later in game, like a workforce. Like you want to stop a big goblin raid ? You need to "use" 10 workforce point. Or I could go further in a gestion gameplay, using them to give you ressources, like you said. Overall ask them various task that they'll do. I'll need a depper reflexion on all this, but the possiblities are endless ! Lastly, for Hyperpreg, we were just talking about it on the discord, a lot of people seems to be up for it, but it'll be probably locked behind an item or a quest, as you suggested. Overall, have a way to make it optionnal. Also, note that hyperpreg wo'nt go as stupidly huge as the ursula pic from the post, it'll be really hard to redo all the scenes with a belly that size. I might keep it for a special scene at some point, and maybe get some special content around it. But that'll be out of the pregnancy updates ^^ Well, thanks again for taking the time to say all this, it's really interesting. I shared that comment on the discord, because I felt that it deserved to be seen by more people, and start a discussion around all this. But hey, join us on the Discord, it would be really great ! It'll be much better for interacxtion and talk with everyone, construction together the best game we can ! :D Well, see ya, and have a good day !

2024-09-17 17:09:58 +0000 UTCGlad to see that pregnancy won the poll and excellent work on the Ursula's updated look. I read that you plan to have polls to help make decisions on some of these facets, and that there are probably some discussions and brainstorming going on in the Discord server, but I would like to share some of my thoughts on the topic as well. -How long does the pregnancy last ? How to you "control" it (just wandering around, going to sleep ?) For this one, it really depends on how simple or complex you'd like the implementation and how much direct control you'd like the player to have over the process. Going to sleep would likely be the easiest solution to have a simple method to both progress any ongoing pregnancies and afford the player complete control over the process given that sleeping is not necessary in order to fully recover. The player would choose when to sleep and thus when and how far to advance the ongoing pregnancies, and it should be relatively simple to implement and use. A more complex method would be to introduce a counter that would advance as the player just plays the game. X amount of steps around the map, the counter increases by 1. Get in a battle, the counter increases by A. Go to sleep, the counter increases by B. Fast travel to another location, you could either make a flat increase of C or increase the counter by 1 per a map that would have been skipped. This would remove the direct control the player would have over the process, but would allow for a somewhat more natural pregnancy system. You could of course also offer options such as rest until a character's pregnancy has begun to show or completed in order to give the player a little more agency. This option would be notably more complex than controlling pregnancies via sleeping, so it may not necessarily be worth the payoff unless you and/or the playerbase want a more natural feeling system. -Is there multiple stages for pregnancy ? (like with different belly size) Personally, I would be in favor of multiple stages, but this would massively bloat the renders needed for all scenes. A compromise could be to use multiple stages for the sprites and maybe the sex scenes while story scenes just have variants for a singe advanced pregnancy level that clearly shows and not being pregnant. However, I'd certainly understand if you'd rather just have a single pregnancy stage rather than have multiple stages as it would undoubtedly be a notable amount of work. It would be nice to see the pregnancies develop and all of the accompanying changes, but I'm unsure if the payoff would be worth the effort you would need to expend. -What do you do with the kids, do you keep them all ? Keeping them all is an option. I could see the potential for multiple options such as opting to keep the child or giving the child up. I could see giving children from more civilized races such as elves and humans to an orphanage or church in a town or giving them up to a relevant faction to gain allegiance with said faction such as giving up human children to the Bandits. As for children from more monstrous couplings, I could see them either being given to a relevant faction as well such as goblin offspring to the Goblin faction, the child wandering off in the case of things like ogres if the player decides not to keep it, or even being given up (or sold) to a wandering troupe which may or may not be collecting such being for certain influential individuals or organizations such as nobles, mages in need of test or research subjects, or other organizations that may or may not be of a nefarious nature. -Could there be kind of a caretaker, managing all the kids ? I could see there being multiple potential caretakers and having multiple caretakers could offer advantages should the children possibly have further mechanical impacts which I'll touch upon in the next section. Sylph is a given considering her abilities and how she was able to quickly make a house for the player. Ellaria would be another potential caretaker for players who have successfully rescued her which is also why I could see there being multiple potential caretakers as it is possible that some players failed to save Ellaria and subsequently left her with Frida. Another benefit to multiple caretakers is that the option would give players the ability to collect and centralize other characters that may not have a notable role in the story beyond their initial story beats such as Ellaria. This would allow players to keep characters they like around, interact with them more easily, and allow them to have a minor, but continuing role in the story as well as make it easier to have scenes featuring multiple characters that may not otherwise meet. For example, if Goblin girls make an appearance in the story and have some role during the main events with the Goblins but have no role beyond that, they could potentially become caretakers. Or another example could be Bambi depending on the scope of her role in the overarching story. If Bambi can be won over and taken from Skadis but she does not have much of a role beyond the interactions with the local bandits, then the player can offer to have her move in as a caretaker. -Do the kids can grow up ? For this option, I'd say it would depend. I could see some kids aging up from babies to young children such as Human or Elf offspring. Other such as Goblins or Ogres I could see maturing at a more notable rate. Now, whether or not to have the children grow up would depend on what purpose you'd like the children to serve beyond existing. You could have them grow up to some degree if you just want to have wholesome scenes between the parent(s) and kid(s). Alternatively, if you plan to have the children serve a mechanical impact, then having them grow up to some degree would be necessary. For example, say you eventually allow the player to drive off the bandits that Skadis is currently managing. You could assign certain children such as Human and Elven kids that have aged up to work the farm and grow certain resources such as apples that the player could regularly collect. If Sylph were their only caretaker, then they'd only be able to grow and collect a base level of resources. However, should Ellaria also be a caretaker, then perhaps the children would be able to grow a larger harvest and may be able to grow new plants that they would otherwise not be able to grow. Similarly for the Goblins, if Doggob and Gobdog's group can be driven off, then their area may be suitable for an outpost for the more quickly growing children such as Goblins. At base level, they may help keep the peace enough that traders visit the farm managed by other offspring which could generate some gold and/or offer opportunities for trade for limited quantities of goods while the player visits the farm. Having a Goblin girl caretaker would enhance this and could result in an increase in gold and/or perhaps allow the collection of drops from hostile mobs such as Goblin or Bandit resources as the horde drives off rival Goblin groups and bandits. Of course, this could be a notable amount of work in which case you could just have the kids exist as an ever growing horde that just represents how many children have been brought into the world where the player can check the number of offspring of each girl as well as the father(s) of the kid(s). -Hyperpregnancy ? Personally, I'm in favor of this option as well. However, given the incredibly niche nature of this fetish, it'd probably be best to either have it unlocked via a quest, enabled by the player using an item, or using both where the player first has to complete a quest in order to obtain the item to allow for hyperpregnancy. I could see this being a third potential render for story scenes if you opt for the compromise mentioned earlier and just have a single pregnant variant and non-pregnant variant for story scene renders. As such, hyperpregnancy could feature as a third potential variant for story renders should you choose to allow it. It probably wouldn't hurt to dust off my Discord credentials and share these there for further discussion, but I digress. Thanks you very much for taking the time to read all of this. I'm looking forward to the polls to see what options may materialize in the future as well as the upcoming build with Ursula's quest. Keep up the excellent work and I hope that you have a wonderful day.
