Yes the "career" runs are like mini story modes were you go through a school career with horses choosing what stats to train them in, managing their stamina condition and skills, you make VN style choices that give you little boosts or penalties. The gacha side of getting new horses and support cards is like any other Gacha but they give you enough starting currency to get a decent team. The online you take your completed career horses to go against other people's teams, this is less interesting to me as its mostly a stat check. The racing itself is fun to watch but if you find it boring you can skip to the final stretch or not watch them completely. For a free phone game would recommend a download see if its your cup of tea.
