I appreciate how much you love Sawyer and Juliet but for me I just could never get on board ๐Ÿ˜‚ they came kind of out of nowhere, there's been nothing between them until this season, and I still have never fully trusted Juliet. She was fully complicit in the plan to kidnap Walt and keep him from his father, one of the most evil thing the Others have ever done. I know she had her own shit and wanted to get home to her sister but when you rewatch this show as much as I have, you remember how truly horrible the Others were to the survivors from the beginning. As the pregnancy specialist, she had to have been involved with what happened to Claire, too. And I love Sawyer, he's my absolute favorite, his character growth is incredible, so I just always wanted more for him. Kate's not perfect either, especially for him, but I like her better than Juliet and always have.

Listening to your after episode thoughts and how you would be angry if everyone's memories of everything that happened on the Island were to be "reset"...it all got me thinking about "The Good Place" (you've watched that show, right? If not, spoilers ahead...). I know we were all worried when they went the "reset everyone's memories" route, but of course it worked out brilliantly. By the way, "The Good Place" had a few direct references to "Lost" - starting with the opening shot of the series, a close-up on Eleanor's eyes opening, similar to Lost's opening shot of Jack's eye opening. And if you haven't seen it in a while, watch the opening several seconds of The Good Place season 3 episode "Don't Let the Good Life Pass You By" - very, very "Lost-ish"! Many themes, like the existence of Free Will, are common to both shows and "The Good Place" creator Michel Schur has acknowledged the influence of "Lost" and even met with Damon Lindelof when he was developing his show.
