2024-12-02 20:05:43 +0000 UTCAlso, one hopeful note: A lot of people online by now have pointed out that Jinx *might* have survived after all: If you look very closely at the explosion that supposedly kills her, then you'll see a single streak of bright purple, not unlike the one you always see around Jinx when she uses her Shimmer speed power. When Caitlyn at the end looks at the plans for the layout of the hexgates she's looking at ventilation shafts for the gates roughly located around the place where the explosion (and more importantly that purple streak) happened while holding one of Jinx' monkey heads. The very last scene of the entire show is an airship flying off into the distance followed by a "The End" sign that is written in Jinx' style. One of her very first lines in the entire show is also "One day, I'm gonna ride in one of these things" while looking at an airship of the exact same make and model passing over her head. Narratively it would also make a lot of sense for her to just leave since in the last two episodes Jinx on multiple occasions talked about how Vi should move on from trying to save her (and in that last scene Vander) and how she knows that Vi would never do that - so the only way Jinx could make sure that Vi was able to move on is for her sister to think she'd died...
