But you're supposed to confused about his storyline at this point. It will be much clearer soon! About Bran, he is still special in that he see's these visions about the three eyed raven. I think the guy who he met mentioned he came all the way to find him so there must be a reason. There are other wargs like the wilding guy but bran seems to have other abilities than just looking through animals.

Jaime Lannister is known to be one of the best swordsmen in Westeros. His hands were tied together, but still - Brienne beating him with apparent ease means she must be very good indeed.
