Maybe Jack is too preoccupied atm to notice but you would think he would step in, since he does have an idea about charlie's addiction. Locke does have the right intention in trying to help claire and with they way charlie is acting it didn't really help his case. But I think he should of taken charlie's worry about aaron seriously, especially when he has been in a similar place with being tested by the island. Remember boone locke?
