Well if you think about becoming, Gunn is becoming something more than just someone in a gang, so i think you answered your own question to that

2022-03-29 18:38:39 +0000 UTCA pretty decent episode, though it bugs me that in the scene where Angel is attacked by Gunn’s gang, they use the iconic music from Becoming Part 1… which always takes me out of the episode because it feels weird for them to use that exact piece of music for some random fight in an Angel episode. I do like the very last lines of dialogue: Angel: I'll be around. Gunn: I don't need no help. Angel: I might. I like that moment because Angel is showing Gunn that he’s not going to treat him like a naive kid who needs supervision and instead that he respects him :)
